Dancing and music has always been a love and a huge part of my life.

I took dance during high school and into college. Typical dance studio dancing during high school and then part of a dance team in college. I started Ballroom/ Latin dance classes around 2020 and fell in love!

I have participated in one competition and done a few spotlight dances at some of the events at my current Ballroom studio.

I take classes 3 nights a week and I am willing to add as much dance time in as possible to get better.

My goals are to be able to continue learning and getting involved in more competitions.

Been to 7 Nationals. Won several. Recently lost dance partner. Trained with top coaches and Judges. Anya Klimova Preston, Glen Weiss, Ray Rivers, Josie Lopez, David Semken, Maryann Carter, Michelle and Jim Gray, Peter Mant and many more! I learn new routines quicky. My dance partners say I feel very light and move and follow well. I realize I may have to fly occasionally or drive longer distances for practice and lessons.

Dance has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the moment I stepped onto the dance floor, I knew that I had found my passion. The rhythmic beats, the graceful movements, and the sense of freedom that comes with losing myself in the music – it all resonated deeply with me.

As I grew older, my love for dance only intensified. I began training in various styles, from Ballroom to contemporary and Folk. Each style brought its unique challenges and rewards, and I found myself drawn to the diversity and richness of the dance world.

But dance is more than just a personal passion – it's a way to connect with others, to share in the joy and beauty of movement. That's why I'm excited to find a dance partner who shares my enthusiasm and commitment. I started taking individual and group classes for about 7 months. I dance 4-5 days a week, work hard, and am critical of my progress. I have been working on learning the American 9 primary, but also do some social Latin and country, planning to be able to compete Q2 next yr. I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

Just getting back into Ballroom Dancing. I did performances 10 years ago.

I learned rhythm and smooth, but I am interisted in Standard now. I had an injury and can not do alot of twisting. I believ "in-hold" would work better for me competition wise.

I started dance lessons in 1970 and completed IDTA up to 3 gold bar in latin and ballroom, took a 15year break to have family and career returned to complete up to 6 gold bar in latin and ballroom and trained both daughters, danced with them to 4 gold bar and still train to a high standard each week now.
