I've been dancing all my life and have been teaching social and performance dance for the past 13 years.

I was born to two fine social dancers, a teen in the disco era when I won my first competition, and became a dance minor in college. After college I danced solely for my own enjoyment until I offered to build a preschool dance program for a local dance studio. Within months I was asked to initiate a social dance program as well.

Currently, I am an independent instructor with a small client base.

I believe that dance is for everyone and I need a partner to help me spread that message.

Had my first Tango lesson in 2014, continued dancing and going to Milongas. In winter of 2016, I learnt Swing 1&2. Since 2021 I have taken tango 2& 3 and started level 4 (March 2022). With COVID it's been harder to train and to dance regularly, however with everything opening slowly can't wait to get on the dance floor and get to go to Tango events & swing!.

I am an enthusiastic intermediate level dancer that wants to improve. I take lessons once a week and social dance at least once or twice a week.

I took various dance classes as a child. I have taken private and group salsa, bachata and Argentine Tango classes over the last year and a half, which I thoroughly enjoy. I have tried a few studios and often go to meet ups and various clubs, both that offer classes and not. I am good at following and learn quickly.

I'm a former ballet dancer (15 years of dancing in Vaganova technique and certified ballet teacher with master degree in ballet pedagogy). I'm also a retired US Army officer. My goal is to become a ballroom dancer as well as Argentine tango dancer. I have 8 months of experience with Fred Astaire dance studios. Won the Top Newcomer price for the state of Illinois in 2021. I'm currently recovering from 2 surgeries on my foot and fracture. Eager to go back to dancing!

Danced as a kid & through college. Did a lot of musical theatre in school. I am primarily a musician. But I love to dance. Started social dancing a few years ago.

My main dances for partnering are Lindy Hop, Salsa, and Tango. I have a dance background in Humphrey-Limon modern dance technique along with Graham and Cunningham. I live on Maui where there has been a surprising level of availability of dance for an island of 100,000 people. I've been able to study Lindy Hop with Richard Badu, Frankie Manning, Norma Miller, Steven Mitchell, Erin Stevens, Marcus & Barbl; Salsa with Luis & Joby Vazquez, Rogelio Moreno; Tango with Susana Miller, Liz Haight, George Garcia, Fabian Salas, Joaquin Canay, and Murat and Michelle Erdemsel. Swing, Salsa, Tango --- they are all necessary. I am not fond of "ballroom" dancing as it was created top-down and has kitschy aesthetics. I like indigenous dances, especially Africal diaspora dances, created bottom-up by thousands of people experimenting over millions of person-hours in open dance communities of New York, Puerto Rico, Havana, Buenos Aires, and more. This is the way deeply archetypal dance forms are created.

I am a former professional dancer who trained in ballet, modern/contemporary and ballroom. I have a musical theater dance background as well. I am bronze level certified through Arthur Murray standards when I taught for them. I’m interested in training and getting back into the dance scene. My goal is to work with someone who can help develop my dancing to the next level.

Initially trained by a Fred Astaire Dance studio in Virginia Beach, Va. I continued My training through an Arthur Murray studio in New Orleans, LA. My most recent has been through DVIDA. I own and run a dance studio. I am currently trying to rebuild my client base after COVID and get back into competition.

I recently moved to Buda, TX (just south of Austin) and am seeking both male and female Dance Buddies as well as a dance partner. I started dancing in 2003, but haven't had a dance partner in many years. I am seeking a compatible practice partner in order to take my dancing/teaching to the next level while also looking for a male instructor to teach my students along side me.

My favorite dances are cha cha and foxtrot because I love the music, but love the other main 4 social dances as well. I am actively looking for a committed and dedicated dance partner to train, practice and perform with in both American Smooth and Rhythm. I have no intentions of competing at this point.

I started with east coast swing when I was 14, and I have been dancing as often as I can ever since! Since then I’ve done a ton of that, a lot of lindy, a lot of salsa & bachata, and a lot of Argentine tango. I once trained for and competed in a semi-pro salsa competition in Chicago, and I would like to do a lot more of that kind of thing. I would say competing for fun would definitely be a goal. I’d be interested in being on a team, perhaps, but I’d really like to train with one partner! I ended up becoming a professional singer instead of a dancer, but I still dance and take classes when I can (I’ve been studying baroque dance for the last 6 years). Covid has made social dancing hard, so I’m looking for someone to practice with without exposing myself to so many people in the mean time. If you are not interested in competing, that’s alright, too, I just want to dance, and I want to dance regularly.

I danced for a few years very regularly. This includes private lessons, groups lessons, amature competition and social dancing. After a few years away I've been back for a year and a half and am taking privates again. I don't need to compete again, though I'm open to it. I just enjoy dancing. I'd like to meet people that I can practice with between lessons and perhaps take lessons with. The thing that I hear frequently is that I lead very well.

Salsa xbody and Cuban, bachata(dominicana, fusion, moderna, sensual), kizomba, semba, afrobeats. I have also done a bit of Latin ballroom, tango, zouk. i want to train more on Angolan and African dances and also practice the lead more. I have had classes from several teachers abroad as well as teachers training(kizomba,semba). I studied music so I am especially focused on musicality as well as technique. I would like to partake in competitions and travel around for congresses and festivals.

Ive just moved back from the country as limited dancing styles to choose from and no partners. I will be living on the southside to start with. I have done ballroom and sequence dancing for the past 10 years and considering giving it up as no partner. I would like to learn ceroc now im back in Brisbane and shown the local dances to attend. Being retired now gives the chance to dance any day or night.

I grew up dancing ballet and participating in gymnastics and cheerleading. I continued ballet as an adult, just for fun. I’ve always been a huge figure skating fan and recently fell in love with ice dance. I just started figure skating lessons, but they are going well! I’d love to see how far I can take it, even though I am starting at a late age. Hopefully not long into my journey I will find someone to partner with because I’d love to compete in ice dancing specifically.
