More About Me
I have been a committed clogger and instructor. I also enjoy Contra. I was introduced to Ballroom Dancing in 2011 through a local Ballroom Dance Studio taking over 500 hours of private lessons. Ballroom is by far the most fascinating, challenging and enjoyable. The Showcases, Competitions and dress designing has made it all consuming for me. However, I no longer have a partner and am looking for one who would also enjoy dancing at least weekly, attending dance venues, learning to dance together as a true partnership.
I am open to dating My priority is finding a partner . Even if you have a commitment to another half, with their blessing, would accept dance partnership.
I did a Peabody solo at one comp and received award for best. I have the ability to follow my partner through unexpected conglomerations.
I have taken a few lessons from a professional dancer and find the next level to be staring me in the face. That's adding the theatrical, relaxed movements. That wouldn't apply to social.
To dance socially would be to dance with my partner intuitively and moving around the floor together for the shear enjoyment of the dance and not for show or performance. Unless an event warranted it. And if we would entertain that idea would be ok with me.
I'm Looking For
I prefer a partner who is beyond the basics and who is better than I am so that he can mold me into his methods of dance. My partner has to have a strong readable lead.
I would like to have one partner that likes to dance for pleasure. A partner who also likes to create a bit of a challenge. I don't like memorizing routines. Ive been told I can follow just about anyone who has a good lead.
I do not have a Barbie figure. And would welcome a partner with a similar build. Although if you have worked to make yourself fit, of course you'd be a welcomed partner who could encourage me to be the same.
If a slim nature is important, you are looking at the wrong girl.
I would like a long term relationship, but at this point am only wanting to find someone to dance with. I miss it.
