More About Me
I love jive/Ceroc which I have done for a long time. I enjoy social dancing and have recently been updating my ballroom/Latin skills which I originally learnt, or thought I did, many years' ago. I have taken lessons in other dances as well such as salsa, lindy, West Coast, Argentinian tango and am happy to give any new dance a go. I go on dance holidays/weekenders, mainly jive/Ceroc but also like ballroom evenings and would like a partner to learn/improve with. I have no aspirations in the competition field, I just want to dance well and enjoy it, and for me that's the important part of it, music and dancing that makes you smile. When not dancing I play badminton/swim/walk and generally try to keep fit. I am lively and enjoy live music, a laugh, a joke, the odd evening out (to rest the legs) and the occasional drink.
I'm Looking For
I am seeking a partner who enjoys dancing the way I do. I don't want a Fred Astaire because I doubt I could keep up (unless I was a Ginger which I am not) but I want a partner who I can perhaps take a few lessons with, practise and improve with, someone willing to try new dances and who is especially happy to add jive to his repertoire (if its not there already). Most of all I would like a partner who is relaxed and not ultra serious, who visibly enjoys dancing, the music and movement, and who is just a little bit interesting and fun to dance with.
