More About Me
I love dancing and have done it for many years, on and off. I would love to improve, but having fun is the most important part. I've probably forgotten more than I can remember, but I am passionate about dance and am keen to learn it in any form!
I take lead with my Mom, so am out of practice with advanced lady's steps, but with tuition/support I hope I would pick them up again. I am equally happy to do a beginner's class as there is always something new to learn, e.g style, technique or just experiencing a different way of teaching.
I have danced ballroom and Latin for many years (including solo), taking medals as a child and later as an adult, but am now dancing more basic steps. I love learning dance and going to socials and it would be great to improve and do the lady's steps again.
I started modern sequence eight years ago, briefly tried Argentine tango, line dancing and most recently swing and salsa. I also tried Ceroc in the past and would be happy to improve in any form of dance if someone is willing to be patient with me and is keen to have a giggle in the process.
I'm Looking For
I want someone to accompany me to lessons and social dances, but I will continue to have lessons and dance with my Mom socially as well. I would love the opportunity to dance lady again and I think there are enough nights in the week to be able to do both.
I don't mind what level you are, I am happy to do a beginner's class or go into something more advanced, I will adjust accordingly.
A good sense of humour is essential as when it comes to dancing there is plenty of room for error and I think it is so much more fun to have a fit of the giggles and laugh it off than to get worked up about it!!
