More About Me
My husband and I began ballroom and sequence dancing 6 years ago and he was better than I but we both loved it. He has died suddenly and I so want still to dance but I recognise that I will have to adapt to a different partner. I particularly enjoy tea dances and lighthearted lessons. I also do line dancing. I do need practice opportunities to master steps and have ready access to premises where this can easily be achieved.
I'm Looking For
...someone in a similar position who has enjoyed dancing but now finds himself without a partner but still keen to have a go at dancing. Ideally I would like to continue with ballroom and sequence and would be very happy to do beginners' sequence again if a new partner did not know any of these dances. I am still lively and take care of my appearance. My (very) part-time job involves visiting and reviewing restaurants and I always take a companion. It's fun for the companion as he (or she) does not have to write the follow-up report; I take care of that. I also maintain a nice garden, volunteer at Oxfam and have other hobbies too, including cycling and table tennis.
