More About Me
I like dancing the waltz and waltz music and play the piano for my own amusement.
I like dancing the ballroom tango and quickstep the most.
In music exams, it became clear that I cannot keep a steady beat.
Also, I find it difficult to pick up the rhythm and time of a dance.
I like Cole Porter, Rogers , Ivor Novello, Strauss family and Franz Lehar music.
I like Mountains and Trees.
I have enjoyed group lessons in the waltz, tango, slow foxtrot, the cha cha cha, and rumba for about 2 years. I have had some 1 to 1 lessons now. I did have some 1 to 1 lessons about 30 years ago.
The downside of the group lesson of course is that you are expected to dance with all sorts of women, some of whom are not fit anyway, and even infirm.
I have a DJ, but of course it cannot be suitable for the more energetic dances.
I just want to become a better dancer. It may be also fun and useful on holiday.
I am financially well off, and have two homes.
I have an M.Sc.(Mathematics) from Nottingham University.

I am looking for an attractive fit dance partner to have fun with.
I want a compatible girl with a good figure,, about 5 feet 4 inches tall.
It would of course be unfair to any partner to be much better than I am.
Ideally someone who looks about 20 to 60 years old.
I am not sure that the group lessons I have been attending would be suitable.
I have attended and enjoyed two dinner/dances and other social dance evenings.
