More About Me
From 1977-87, at studios in Michigan, I competed in ProAm American style events, Bronze and Silver (4 years as a student, 6 years as a pro with my students; see photo) and did many, many showcases. We had weekly training from the top trainers in Michigan and others who were brought in several times a year, on technique and syllabus through Gold. When I moved to the DC area in 1988, I studied international standard and got my amateur status back in 1995. I have kept up my dancing through the years by attending dances and workshops at area studios, and by attending international choreographed ballroom dance weekends (Phase IV-V). I look forward to meeting others with whom I can share my love of dance.
I'm Looking For
I'm looking for an experienced dancer who knows American style continuity and/or International standard. He must move well, have a good frame and be congenial. I would love to find a partner for practice and to enjoy the many dance activities in the area. For the right partner, I would clear the decks.
