More About Me
I've taken up dancing a few times throughout my life, but as of 2019, I've stuck with it, and I'm taking it seriously. I'm tired of taking weekly classes, with sparse opportunities to practice, drill, experiment, and improve. I want to advance my repertoire, exploring moves and figures that require too much practice/focus to learn to be included in drop-in lessons. I want to practice until we display effortless expertise on the social floor. And if an opportunity for competition comes up, I wouldn't object to that, either.
I'm Looking For
Ideally, my partner would be an intermediate follower willing to work through the lessons available to us. I'd like a partner who can focus on practicing without taking ourselves too seriously, and who can workshop steps that aren't working out without blame or frustration. And Ideally, any practice partners I meet would also be good people to know and dance with in the local social-dance scene.
