More About Me
I've trained and taught in many styles of dance including in ballet, lyrical and jazz stage dancing and Musical theatre arts. I choreographed and directed youth musical theater for several years including Matilda, Tarzan, Seussical, and more. Following my divorce I had the opportunity to learn ballroom dancing, which I love! I've learned through Bronze and some silver in Rumba, ECSwing, Salsa, ChaCha, Waltz, Tango, and FoxTrot. I began teaching ballroom dancing to couples and individuals within a couple years of starting. I can follow a good leader in any style of dance and at most levels.
When it comes to choreographing dance number, I create each piece connecting the music with the lighting, with the dancers,. I love to intricately line each moment in a way that articulates the story without a single word, delivering a flow of emotions to the audience as they watch.
I'm Looking For
I'm a fast learner and work hard to accomplish my goals in and off the dance floor. I'm seeking a dance partner who knows more than me now and can keep up when I surpass him. I'm interest in a partner who is dedicated and serious about dancing, values technique, but ultimately wants to have fun, stretch our limits trying new things and isn't afraid to make mistakes along the way. I'm interested in performing and competing in ballroom and freestyle dancing, primarily with lifts in freestyle choreography. I'm most interested in a dance partner who already has the skills to lift and toss a lady around or someone who would enjoy learning together.
