More About Me
Hello Dancers! I began dancing at a young age, learning swing and west-coast swing from my Dad and loved it! In my 20's I learned various social ballroom styles before moving on to Country Western in my 30's.  My boyfriend at the time was a country music DJ and dance instructor so I was his teaching partner for several years.  In my early 40's I discovered Hawaiian Hula, joining a traditional halau (school) in which we danced competitively and performed publically, winning several awards for group dance and 2nd place for my solo competition in my 50's.  Though I relocated away from my hula school, I still dance hula whenever the opportunity arises.   I travel quite a bit and, whenever possible, seek out social dances to keep up with swing and latin styles, however, social ballroom would be lovely to start up again.  My goal is to dance socially more often!
I'm Looking For
I'd enjoy a partner who is taller than 6 feet and who enjoys a variety of social dance styles. I'm a fairly good follower, however, can be spontaneous. A patient and firm dance lead is always appreciated, especially if we can laugh at our missteps when they happen.
