More About Me
I am looking to do competitions with someone at least the same height as me - (5 ft 9 with heels). I live in North London (edgware) and would hope that you don't live too far out. I am not looking for anything other than a dance partner as I am married and have a family. I have been doing modern jive for a couple of years now and have competed successfully at Ceroc Champs etc. I have the medals and trophy's to prove it! I dance regularly in St Albans and Hatfield so if you are local to that, that would be great. I am currently looking to pursue competing and ideally enter the fixed categories as opposed to the lucky dips and dance with strangers categories. I also love to dance Salsa and have danced on and off for 10 years now. I learnt in Cuba and therefore can dance both cross body and Cuban style on the '1' or on the '2'. I came runner up in the World open salsa champs for amateur's in 2002 and won the British Amateur Open Salsa Champs in 2012. I also auditioned for Strictly dance fever a few years ago, getting through to the second round. I appeared as an extra in the 2014 film Cuban Fury.
I'm Looking For
A male who is taller then 5 ft 8 inchs, that is wanting to compete and perform in preferably modern jive or Salsa but hasn't found the right dance partner yet. Someone who can dedicate a bit of time each week/month, for us to practice and get some routines choreographed for competition. I dance regularly in St Albans and Hatfield so if you are local to that, that would be great. You hopefully would like to include some sort of acrobatics in the routine whether it be just myself doing it or you included. If doing salsa, I would also like to mix it up a bit including some reggaeton, hip hop, street..to spruce the routine up if possible.
