More About Me
I am a totally fun loving, loyal and generally a happy person. I had the honour to be part of Sham Rock, a band which made the top 20 in the UK charts for 5 weeks in 1998 with Tell Me Ma. That was a long time ago. I've done Line/street dancing for ten years and didn't do too badly in the Worlds Championships which was held in the US this Millennium.
Last year (2008), I had a crash course in Ballroom (i.e. a 8 week course) and loved it. I still do line dancing which is not that sad -certainly no Yeehahs or fingers in belts. I guess there are some older style venues but my dance club ranges from waltz one minute to funky the next with music usually played on 2-Ten FM or Kiss FM before 8pm. At the end of the last quarter of 2007, I tried Salsa with work colleagues. This was great fun but one by one the enthusiasm for them disappeared and I was last man standing.
I'm Looking For
A partner to dance socially with in Ballroom / Salsa. Any experience level welcome. I do pick up dances relatively quickly, am very easy going and hopefully a lot of fun to learn with. I am willing to learn any new dance styles, new steps and capable to going to competition level if required but not next week!!!!
Very important is someone that is fun loving too and when I go wrong, will laugh with me - the odd grump is ok though!
