More About Me
Ballroom dance has become such a big part of my life, its hard to imagine being in a relationship that does not include dance in the mix. I'd put my dance level as generally being intermediate, though there is some variation of this depending on the dance. Currently taking lessons in Balboa and Foxtrot. I usually dance 3 times a week. I am open to having a partner that is somewhat less or somewhat more proficient, and I would enjoy taking lessons together. I want to meet dancing men who are open to dating/exploring the possibility of a relationship.
I am 63, SWP, (Divorced a long time). I have a daughter who has graduated from college, and have two miniature schnauzers who are affectionate, non-shedding, and non-allergenic.
I have been described as caring, humanistic, nurturing, down-to-earth, a good listener, independent, and thoughtful (in both its meanings). I am intelligent, but not an intellectual, striving for wisdom, and (almost always) showing integrity. Personal/Spiritual development and growth are important to me. Relationships are a challenge (all relationships, but particularly romantic ones), and it is through this emotional intimacy that life is enhanced when this is what both parties desire. Heart-to-heart conversations are very important.
Interests include alternative health and healing, energy, serendipity, intuition, spirituality, and my work helping others.
I particularly enjoy dancing (especially Ballroom Dance, but I also like Folk Dance, Square Dance,, Universal Dances of Peace, etc.), plays, ethnic foods, and socializing with friends. I like taking walks to commune with nature, and I make sure that one vacation a year is in the mountains on a lake. Exploring a nearby quaint city or a foreign country are both appealing.

I am hoping to meet a dancing soul mate. I want to be with someone who can cherish our time together, and appreciates their alone time; a man who knows the importance of being open and honest, and succeeds at having good communication.. You should have some of the same interests, particularly ballroom dance, and you would like to introduce me to your other interests. However, we are both fine with having some interests that are pursued individually. It is important that you see friendship as being the first step towards a romantic relationship, and that becoming dance partners, and partners in life's journey, in the context of a loving, and passionate relationship, as the ultimate goal.
