More About Me
I'm an enthusiastic and determined beginner,currently (3/10)level 5. Taking dance lessons private and group. It seems that I could be happy taking lessons forever (until I'm carted away to Happydale Rest Home); there are so many appealing styles. Friends and I dance at the Asheville Ballroom for regular and USA dances as well as a couple of other locations in the area.
What I lack is a steady partner for practice. Certainly my teacher has urged me to find one and I suggested standing on a street corner with my Dance Partner Wanted sign. Just discovered this site listed in the USA Dance Newsletter. Now who else has discovered this source?
I'm Looking For
Dance partner for practice and social dancing. Would certainly be happy with a dance partner for classes in just about anything.
Argentine Tango seems daunting but then a challenge is always good.
Willing to try Zydeco/Cajun, English Country, Salsa...I think we can rule out hip hop however!
