I've been going to Latin socials for about two years, but officially started taking lessons over the summer. Originally, I learned single time swing in high school 25 years ago, salsa during College 20 years ago, and did some ballroom in the mid 2000s. Recently got back into it in 2023. In a typical week I'll have 2-3 hours of group lessons, with one or two social dances for about 1.5 hours each. Would love to practice once a week for a couple hours to go over all the dances and various moves, though I can be flexible on that. My goal is to have fun, make sure my follows have fun, and be competent on the dance floor.

While I am up for learning routines for performances, at the moment do not have the time or interest in competing.

I have been taking lessons for eight years. Typically two personal lessons and a group lesson or two per week. The pandemic changed up my schedule. I would like to consistently go out dancing socially, possibly competing at some point. I would love to find someone to practice with and go out social dancing.

I love to dance, my Favs are: Waltz, Rumba, Bachata, Hustle, Cha-Cha and Two step, but open to any. I presently take private lessons once a week and group classes as well. My music taste is varied, but has to be "danceable" Dancing partner to go out "dancing" would be nice. YES, would like to take some lessons with the right person! I dance ballroom competitively for more than 7 years. I'm interested in dancing Novice/Pre-Champ Latin and Pre-Champ/Champ Standard at competitions, eventually working my way up to Championship level in both styles. At the moment, I don't have a partner neither for Standard nor for Latin. I train on my own and through private dance lessons.

When I'm asked why did I pick ballroom as a hobby I say I enjoy the movement and the beauty, verbal and non-verbal interaction and team work with my partner, the coordination between the two minds and bodies, the mutual interpretation of music, and on top of it all - getting better and better at it every day. My stronger points as a dancer are endurance and strength. I like to compete because I find it really motivating. It gives a sense of scope to the project, and - I must confess - I love putting on those costumes and looking fabulous!

Although I enjoy social dance on occasion (especially salsa!) and I don't mind dancing socially with my competitive dance partner, I'm not looking for a social dance partner through this site. Competitive inquires only, please.

Been partnerless for a little bit now. First, due to life stuff, and now due to COVID stuff.

Started up weekly lessons in again recently. Hopefully as the world settles down, I can do more lessons and classes and practices and socials and all that fun stuff!
