I'm all about technique, and would rather do a few figures well than many figures poorly. I've been dancing and teaching since 1993, some Silver American Smooth and Rhythm, some International Standard and Latin. Studied under Russell Monk, Fred Dunn, Rickey Geiger, Ludwig Dahlberg, and Craig Bukowski, among others.

I've hit the road full-time in my vintage Shasta LoFlyte. I had planned to be in New England for the summer but with this crazy weather, I have to admit, I'm kind of scared to travel that far. I may have to tough it out in Dallas, Texas, for the summer.

I'm a non-smoking, non-drinking, vegan Christian. Sound like a barrel of laughs, huh? ;-) I really am very funny; well, at least I think I am...I also have a cat and a not-so-friendly dog, something people with severe allergies need to know. I'm willing to relocate for the right opportunity.

I began ballroom dancing in 2003 and have been passionate about it ever since. I've been coached by many top professionals over these years, both locally and around the country. Most of my experience is in Standard, followed by Smooth; continuing training and competing in one or both of these styles is my current primary goal. I am open to training in Latin as well but I am not interested in Rhythm at the moment. In addition to ballroom, I’ve also studied ballet, modern, contact improvisation, and kinesiology. I have an interest in performance and choreography; I've performed in numerous shows with nine different studios, in two professionally directed productions, and at the Chicago Salsa Congress. I was the open amateur standard champion at many local competitions including the Windy City Open in 2014. (Most of my competition experience is as an amateur, but I am also potentially interested in competing professionally if I found the right partner.)

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am fairly intense in all that I do in the sense that I like to be masterful at everything that interests me, but I am also generally easy going so you may not see it on the surface. I'm a retired university lecturer and dancing is one of my hobbies. I'm a 'Gentleman Dance Host' on cruise ships but I only go on one or two cruises a year (because it's not all 'fun and games'! - dance hosts have to dance 'til midnight every night and are not paid, we're passengers not crew and just get a free cruise.)

I used to compete Open Gold International Latin 14 years ago, and stopped dancing for 13 years to raise kids. I got back into dancing in early 2022. I'm struggling to figure out where I fit in with dancing because my body doesn't move like it used too 🙄, so, competition might not be right for me...unless it's just for the fun of it or with the right person. I really love social dancing and want to focus on the joy of dancing. I wouldn't mind doing performances or shows, though. And I still remember a lot of Latin technique and I'm confident that I can be a decent practice partner for Latin or teach what technique I know.

Learning to dance gives me a way to be more social and most people on some level equate being a good dancer with being more socially developed. I’m taking an online class, working fulltime and I am involved with the church. I don’t have the desire, time or money for romance or clubbing. I am gueiunely looking for a dance partner to train with. The gym I go to has a nice wood floor area that would be perfect for this. I know they allow it because I used the same gym to practice in, when I lived in Amarillo. There are camera’s everywhere, it’s in a nice area and a lot of cops work out there. I know how to do a “Two Step” and “ Waltz” I was working on learning Salsa and West Coast Swing when I moved to Albuquerque. I am also open to learning, “Bachata” I learned some steps over the weekend and enjoyed it. I've practiced Ballet for almost 15 years, then I discovered partner social dancing and I fell in love with it. I started with Salsa and Bachata, then Swing and finally ended up taking ballroom/dancesport training classes 4 years ago.

I have been competing in the US for 3 years now, and I have reached the gold level in collegiate.

It is difficult to find the right partner from reading only a bio. I am willing to travel to or part way to test out dancing together. I have been teaching and competing in ballroom for 4.5 years, but have not yet found the right partner; someone who is as dedicated to growing into a partnership thru working together and accomplishing common goals.

I am looking for the person that wants a strong dance partnership and to continue competing.

I have danced open competitions and Supadance for the last 7 years. I have won a few Over 60s competitions. I am a better ballroom dancer than Latin but enjoy both. I live on The Wirral, Cheshire and I would like to continue to compete for a few more years. I am widowed and looking for a partner who loves dancing as much as I do. I competed as a child so have good technical skills.

So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with west coast swing, hustle and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. It would be wonderful to find someone who can put a lot of time into dance, but I don't have specific requirements about any set amount of days or hours per week. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water slides, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing .Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.

I have taken private and group lessons from a multitude of dance studios and instructors over the years. Years ago I competed, mostly within the Arthur Murray system. I have performed several showcases. I prefer social dancing to doing routines.

I am generally a very good lead and am currently dancing somewhere at between an advanced bronze and silver level. I have pretty good technique and could compete if I wanted to.

My wife likes dancing with her dance instructor and I enjoy dancing with other amateurs. Although we both ballroom dance, we have found that we are happier when we do it separately. I am happily married and am only looking for a dance partner.

I'm an enthusiastic, experienced and focussed girl looking for the right partner to train up to S class and beyond with - ballroom only. I have a solid technical foundation and I work with top teachers. Given the right circumstances, I improve very quickly.

I have previously lived and trained in London UK, The Netherlands and Germany.

Currently I am living in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Hi I’m Jay and I’m really passionate about dancing. While at university I did mostly Gaana, with a little bit of Street and Bollywood. I generally have an interest in all types.

After university I have been dancing Latin social dances, when I can for about 3 years. I would like to get better in these dances as well as explore and learn others. I am interested in learning Zouk and Ballroom. I have recently started to learn Ballroom, and am really enjoying Latin.
