Hi, my name is Richard. I would like to find a dance partner that is 60's plus like myself. One that I could also date and maybe turn into a meaningful relationship. I am 6' tall, 170 lbs. at 10.1 % bodyfat. I love to dance. I have been social dancing for 30 years. My favorite music to dance to is Rockabilly, 50's Rock'n'Roll, and Traditional Country. One of my hobbies was skydiving (1800 jumps ). I have some real stories to tell about that. Also, I was into racing formula cars for 20 years. My passion is weightlifting. I enjoy having a great healthy body that I am very proud of. (see photos). I love to put on a bathing suit and walk in the surf at the beach. I would love to have a partner to do that with. A lady that is also in good shape and is proud of her body. I want to get out there and do things but not by myself. I am a kind and gentle person with so much love to give.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I love all types of dance - Currently, I'm taking classes in Lindy and East Coast Swing! I love the fun culture of these dances, and I would like to find someone in my area to learn and practice with. That said, I'm open to any style of dance in addition to ECS/Jitterbug/Lindy and want to practice, dance regularly, and improve.

I started dancing when I was 6 years old. I have successfully competed in 10 dance International latin and ballroom styles for over a decade, traveling around Europe and taking coachings with high level dancers. I competed for many years in Amateur Open Championship and Senior I Championship in International Standard in the US and I would love to compete in Europe as well. I have won most major Prechamp competitions in the USA, and my most highest national result was 3rd place in USA National Championships in Senior 1 Standard in 2015. I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

Ballroom dancing started as a covid hobby and I would like to get better at it. I danced ballet and tap when I was younger and take dance seriously. My ballroom favorites are rumba and east coast swing but I am proficient in many others. I also recently re-started with ballet and tap dancing, mostly to help keep flexible and nimble but also because it is fun and keeps me moving when no partners are available. I compete at the bronze level in local competitions and am strongly motivated to keep getting better.
