Just moved to seattle and looking to get back into dancing. I used to compete standard up to prechamp level.

I studied dance for most of my life. I performed with a few ballet companies when I lived in New York City, but haven't performed here in Los Angeles in many years. I'm new to ballroom but I have experience with swing dancing. I've studied all kinds of broadway theater styles including cha-cha, mambo, merengue, waltz etc... but just not with a partner. 15 years experience - around 15 hours a week on average including some teaching but mainly social international dancing. Strong (yet gentle) and competent lead in all dances. I've been dancing for 17 Years I started with ballet then made the transition to ballroom when I was 13. I started with swing for the first few years of my ballroom training and then when I was 18 I joined a studio and started taking learning as much as I could. So I love to dance!

Other then dance I love to do acro and play music. I'm currently going to school to be an EMT and will start my new job in September. However I will probably only be in Washington for another year and a half possibly more due to my significant other being active duty.

I fell in love with dancing in my 40s after my first visit to a ballroom dance studio. My favorite types of dancing are the waltz, rhumba, cha-cha, foxtrot, and swing. I'd love to get better at the tango and quickstep. I am always open to learning more types of dance.

Growing up I did tap, jazz, ballet, ballroom and swing dance. I earned International Society of Teachers of Dance Bronze medals from Bemel McGregor in Waltz, Cha-cha and a few other dances when I was still a teenager. I've danced since I could walk. When I dance it comes from deep within my soul, it is my passion in life. I would have to say that I'm a "Street/natural dancer". I have some background in jazz,which I took at Lakeland Community College yrs ago. I can dance to most music, I actually get teased by friends on how many different shoes are in my trunk. Depends on the surface of the dance floor & what shoes to use. :) I dance to relieve stress. I am an LPN and have been a clinical research coordinator, currently involved with EMR (electronic medical records)so I travel to different hospitals. This is only temp.,but trying to get back into research.

yes I am tall, and even taller with heels, I am 6ft without heals. I am new to dancing but I am really passionate about learning to dance and I am looking for the right partner. I may not have dance experience but I do gymnastics and dance on the back of a horse in the equestrian sport horse vaulting, so I understand team work and think I will excel fast in the dance world.
