I have been doing some kind of dancing since I was a child but only for fun.

I am not really interested in medals just some fun nights or days out.

I danced a lot in what seems like a prior life and some socially since that time. I have improved since dancing 10 to 15 hours per week. The more I dance, the more I realize how much I need to learn! I am much improved and I have enjoyed meeting many people and dancing. The first time I was asked to dance was a milestone for me.

I am a happy, outgoing, smiling female who loves to laugh. Have been retired 2 yrs now. I play the ukelele, learning lawn bowls at present. and I LOVE TO DANCE. I am sincere, trustworthy and reliable.

Such an out of date profile I had so here's and update: I have been dancing for quite a few years mostly enjoying shows and performances. Mostly its been about the enjoyment of dancing. However a few years back decided to do a comp in Blackpool and won the Waltz and Jive. Have done a few other competitions in the following years doing fairly well. Its still about the love of dancing for me, but the competitions sharpen you up, and can be good fun.

I would like to find a partner who would like to go an compete on the one circuit, get some decent routines together and to become as good as possible, considering I didn't start doing this at the age of 4 !

If its worth doing then its worth trying your best, so I would like to give that a go with someone fairly like minded.

I am serious about my dancing and competitions and prepare vigorously with my partners. I am driven and dedicated to refining my dancing, and I strive continually to improve. I have 3 National titles. 1st place Bronze International Standard (2007), 1st place Silver International Standard (2007), 2nd place Gold International Standard (2008). I've also ranked 5th Nationally in Novice (2007). I'm currently dancing at the Pre-Championship level of International Standard. I have won numerous local and regional competitions.

I just split with my Ballroom Dancing partner and am relocating to China for at least a year and am currently looking for a new partner. I will most likely be returning to the S.F. Bay Area.

Therefore I speak four languages, Italian, French, Spanish and English. I came to this country as an emigrant and became a successful businessman. I own a software company who created a very efficient anti-spyware program to protect computer users from Malware. I am educated and well rounded in many subjects, very secure and “manly”.

I've been on and off with salsa dancing for a long time! I mostly learned from DVDs then took some classes. I feel like the only way to progress now is with some consistence practice and clear goals.

I enjoy all types of dance but I have been learning ballroom dancing for the last nine months with a dance teacher.

I am a board member for an USA Dance Chapter in North Carolina. I dance socially as well as compete. I have competed in North Carolina, in New York City and at USA Dancesport Nationals in Baltimore, Maryland. I have placed with a partner as high as 3rd in Latin and made the semi-finals for Standard in our categories at the USA Dancesport Nationals in 2016. I want to continue to improve and place. I haven't competed in American styles for a while, and would be willing to dance American as well.

I am finally in the phase of my life when i can really start dancing and competing. I have been spending more time training, and trying to increase my stamina for competitions by running and yoga.I have also started martial Tai Chi.

I've taught ballroom/social dance for 25 plus years. I'm happily married with 6 children and 3 grand children, My wife is fine with me pursuing excellence in dance. I train 4-6 days/week lifting weights to build a huge repertoire of beautiful moves with a dance colleague (open/aerial too) who's committed as well.
