In the movie dance with me I am the Puerto Rican guy. Dancing for fun and social engagement. Maybe a competition.

In addition to dances listed in the multiple choice section, I love Urban Ballroom, aka Detroit Ballroom. I have done many partner dances for many years. Mostly I follow, but I'm learning to lead. Dances I can lead a little bit: Cajun/zydeco waltz, cw waltz, Viennese waltz, country 2 step, bachata. I am a purely social dancer; it's all about the music and having fun. I love to dance to live music, as well as good DJs. Sometimes I go to venue where one needs to "take a dancer with you". Usually when I wish I had a partner to bring, I'm going to hear a Western swing band (cha cha, wcs, Lindy, balboa, country 2 step) or Lindy hop band.

Currently producing a workout program DVD project I welcome inputs from yoga instructor, fitness trainer, martial artist, dancer and nutritionist.

People have described me as someone who is confident, determined, passionate, fun, outgoing, active, optimistic, romantic and adventurous. I love art of all forms, especially martial art and healing art. I enjoy singing. It sooths me when I sing. Occasionally I write songs while playing guitar.

I absolutely love the ballroom world and love to compete. I have 3 years of rhythm/smooth experience and am full bronze level - hoping to move to silver soon. My previous competitive gymnastics and social east coast swing/Lindy hop experience really lends to my dance now. I am a fun-loving, yet intensely competitive person who loves living life to its fullest.

Dancing is my life. I am so passionate about it and i hope that whoever i dance with is too. I work extremely hard and one of my goals is too audition for so you think you can dance in a year. :)

I was born in Haiti and I have been in the US since 1990. I love dancing, kayaking, painting, and making friends.

Right now I am practicing 4/5 days a week using International Standard Bronze/Silver figures and routines. The gold figures can always be added.

I am looking for someone to practice with in Albuquerque. I have access to a dance floor and an amazing coach. If you live here, great! If not, come for a few days, a few weeks or a few months.

I dance salsa and hustle and west coast swing socially as well and there's stuff going on here all the time.

Have taken a year of professional ballroom. Have a natural ability and love for dance. I have taken a few years of East Coast lessons and just a few West Coast swing lessons. I have attended the Maitland Center's Salsa Heat lessons and really enjoyed it...I haven't danced since December 08 only because I've been out of the area...but will be moving back to Altamonte in December 09. Hope to get back into the 'swing' of things very soon!

I danced competitively for 8 years while on the MIT team (MITBDT), but since moving to NYC 5 years ago have not competed. I used to compete in all 4 styles (I'm a 19-dancer). Ideally, I'd like one partner for all 4 styles, but I know that isn't realistic, so I'm open to picking 2 styles for now. I was stronger in standard (noivce/pre-champ) and smooth (pre-champ) and weaker in rhythm (pre-champ) and latin (gold).

I am generally a confident dancer who loves to waltz and do latin. i have competed in lots of competitions and are some times asked to go back. It is only know that i find myself having the confidence and willingness to compete again. I would like to go for the Australians in Melbourne weather it be this year or next just have to have the right partner and the chemistry to connect and go for it.

I'm looking for a West Coast Swing dance partner to improve together. I usually dance about 10-15 hours a week, between dance practices, classes and dance events. I'd like to only focus on West Coast Swing, since the dynamics of this dance are rather complex. I just placed 2nd in a Newcomer division in Jack and Jill and would like to improve my dance, so that I feel comfortable competing in the Novice division. I have some Ballroom dance foundational knowledge from social dancing/taking lessons about 25 years ago. Feel free to contact me!

I have been dancing for about 8 years and it is one of the biggest passions of my life. Social dancing is fun but I would like to find a serious practice partner for lessons and possible competition. I know more in East Coast Swing and ChaCha, but love Rumba and enjoy Hustle, American Tango and Waltz. I like Social dancing and having fun. I do like to lead what my partner likes and to make her look good . I like to lead smooth routines that flow and do not manhandle. I do enjoy continuing to learn and improve my dance, but most of all like to have fun dancing. It would be nice to practice/go out 1-2 times per week.

I have taken 22 lessons in rumba and salsa. First 10 were at Arthur Murray’s and the last 12 at Dance Legacy. Looking for a fun partner to join me in my private dance lessons at a Dance Legacy. The lessons are usually 7 or 8 on Wednesdays and Fridays. I will be paying for all the lessons.
