I'm hard working, and very intuitive when it comes to movement. I love all forms of dance. I started my dance career through breakdancing and then merged into other more traditional forms of dance like ballet, jazz, contemporary and now ballroom.

I feel that my innate sense of movement and translation for movement along with my variety of Dance experience will continue to rapidly stretch my understanding of partner dancing in general.

I've been dancing for 3 years. Mainly American Smooth & Rhythm, with some Salsa, Hustle, West Coast Swing, and Country Western thrown in. I'm looking to improve my dancing by practicing better. I'm in an Arthur Murray studio but am looking to get better by having a greater focus with a partner. I'm pretty physically fit and willing to work for pretty long periods of time to improve my dance. My frame is not that good and I'm definitely looking to improve that. The styles of dance I marked are those I am most familiar with but I am open to learning almost any dance style. I work full time as well as live in Scottsdale. I have been here about 10 years - another Chicago transplant. In my far past I was a competitive studio dancer. In college I studied modern dance and learned to dance salsa for fun. I spent college and grad school socially Latin dancing in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia). I did a miniscule amount of East Coast Swing and West Coast Swing. Life took over and I didn't dance for a long time, but two years ago I started learning to dance salsa on2 and dabbled in kizomba and bachata. Then I ended up having a few surgeries and my poor knee is still healing. I am looking for someone who wouldn't mind practicing basics with me while regain my strength and help reinforce the timing of the dances I know. I won't ever be able to dance like I did when I was younger, but my heart still beats faster when I hear music and I desperately want to get back out on the dance floor in any capacity!!!

I can comfortably move around the floor with waltz, QS, foxtrot (just learning American but prefer international). Comfortable with All Latin variations apart from tango which I want to learn more of.

I started going to clubs in the 90's and learnt salsa which I still thoroughly enjoy and would say this is my advanced "dance".

I started taking Ballroom Dance lessons over 7 years ago and fell in love with it. I have been teaching beginners and also teaching Belly Dance. I want to dance, compete and teach!

15 years of dance experience in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, theatrical and pointe. Several years of competing.

I'm an enthusiastic beginner with very little dance experience, but I think I'll learn quite quickly.

I favor standard and smooth and have trained competitively for 10 years, competing am/am in the O/35 and pro/am in championship levels.

I am easy-going, open minded, dedicated, flexible and passionate about dancing.

Am technique oriented and enjoy the process.
