I have been ballroom dancing for a little over three years and I find it very addicting and I want to learn as much as possible and compete.

I've competed at the championship level in all styles including theater arts. I've placed in multiple rhythm and theater arts national finals. Trained with Michael Johnson, Lee & Linda Wakefield, Curt & Sharon Holman, Olga Rodionova, Rufus Dustin & Tomas Lewandowski. I've been teaching mostly social the last couple of years with a few amateur competitive couples here and there.

Began ballroom dance lessons in early 2016 in Atlanta. I now go to a studio in Naperville. I've competed at the beginning (Bronze) level in American Cha-Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot. My goals are to become a proficient social and competitive dancer in a broad range of dance.

I started taking Ballroom Dance lessons over 7 years ago and fell in love with it. I have been teaching beginners and also teaching Belly Dance. I want to dance, compete and teach!

15 years of dance experience in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, theatrical and pointe. Several years of competing.

I'm an enthusiastic beginner with very little dance experience, but I think I'll learn quite quickly.

I am a slim reasonably attractive architect living in Plymouth. I enjoy the theatre music and the arts. I like to keep fit swimming rowing and walking.

I have leant Latin and Ballroom for 10 years. My teacher says I am dancing at advanced level and am an excellent follower ( the best he has).

I maybe could have gone down the “dancing as a guy and learning to teach route “ but I love dancing so much I would rather dance, even though it means that I’m often dancing with beginners. I enjoy helping people on a 1-1 basis but I don’t think I would want to teach group classes on my own. I dance with my body and soul. The music tells me to dance. I find life without dancing is lacklustre.

I have had Argentine tango lessons from a few different teachers - for some reason my area doesn’t have a consistent Argentine school - but I find that I have benefitted from learning from different approaches and love the passion and feeling of the dance.

I have learnt some Salsa, some Paso Doble and a small amount of rock and roll.

looking for dance partner for social ballroom silver.

I have competed pro smooth and standard for the past few years. I consistently maked finals in both styles although my main focus is smooth. Currently I've been trying to train a girl up to dance with me but our goals are not the same and she isn't keeping up. I've talked to her about this and agreed to compete with her until I can find a new partnership that matches my goals better. So hopefully I can get a new partnership going soon.

I'm open to relocating for a good partnership if the situation is right and to a good place like NYC or California no offense but places like small city rural Kansas just doesn't cut it for me. I'm also willing to fully support a partner should she move here until she is built up. It is difficult moving and to me the partnership comes first in life because I can't do anything without it. I'd expect the same from my partner.

I am a dance professional In the Madison, Wi area. I have been dancing for 12 years ranging In styles from ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary etc. I have trained with extensive coaches and teachers to make sure my dancing Is at it's highest potential. I am always looking to learn and grow as a better dancer and teacher. I have been teaching ballroom for the past 8 years and absolutely love to dance. I am currently Certifying for yoga which I feel will be a great addition to me and partners training. I have my schedule played out so that It wouldn't conflict with practice time. I have competed In american and smooth and rhythm and very open to doing both If desired. I am a very fun and energetic person who loves to dance and is very dedicated. I definitely want to get to the top but want to make sure within the partnership we don't lose our passion for dance along the way.

I really would like to spend 2011 getting good at ballroom dancing. It is my goal to compete. I don't have a lot of free time because I'm balancing several other careers. Mainly I perform stand-up comedy most nights, so it's a little bit of a sacrifice for me to give up a performance night to go dance or practice, but if someone has an equal level of commitment and ambition than I do, I would be totally up for it.

I want to dance a multitude of dances well enough to have the followers feel great about accepting a dance from me or having asked me. Feeling pretty good about my rhythm now and want to feel even more alive, athletic, and energetic. I'm dancing more than five times a week now. I do aerobics classes multiple days and have had a physical trainer for a while now as well as a personal dance instructor. Currently taking 4 group classes. I have gone to both NY and RI for dance camps.

I can do the basic steps to most of the major Latin dances now. Hips are moving well though. I've had four or five classes now in salsa so can do foreword, side, crossovers, and several turns. I can do the bacchante line/partner although different studios seem to do it slightly different. My rumba is getting much better. Cha cha is fun now.

I am at an intermediate level in west coast swing knowing about six types of whips, some tucks, some folds. Know starter throw out. Have taken some advanced classes. Doing playing styling now.

I do some modern hustle but often revert to west coast swing.

I can dance the foxtrot and two step well enough to have fun and am told my form and leading are very good. Do the basics, underarm turn, zig zag. Corner turns. .

I've taken a couple east coast swing classes. I may be at intermediate level for most dances mentioned here now but still say bronze as some studios do things a bit differently.

Regarding waltz I do flip flops, spirals, progressive twinkle, butterfly. Enjoying the flow of music and merging with it is wonderful. Finally getting a sense of floormanship to avoid other less careful dancers. (defensive dancing? lol)

Re American tango I can do a little routine involving promenade, ladies underarm turn, Corte, side fan, side passes, and a few other things. Argentinean tango have had at least 6 classes now.

Been taking argentine tango for a number or months and find it challenging still.

Viennese waltz is still my target for this year (2017). Right turns still weak. I can envision myself doing the Vienna Waltz in my tux someday on a passenger ship or in a grand ball room. I am actually getting onto the dance floor now with this. Kind of jazzed at my progress now. Have the left turn down now just need a little more practice with the rest. able to do 3-4 left turns in a row now.

Spouse is aware that I am seeking a partner for additional dancing. She is also fine sharing me at a group dance.
