I had ballet, some modern, and social club dancing background. I also dabble in a little country line dancing.

I have been dancing all of my life. Dancing and music are both my bliss.

Never had dance lessons, always loved to go out and dance when I was a little younger. Have been self teaching from you tube!

I haven't competed in a few years, I've just been dancing socially. I did quite well in the comps I entered: usually placing in the top three in single dances and finals in scholarship dances as well as placing in the overall top 20 of all but a couple of the comps I entered. Dancing is a passion for me. I am now hooked on Salsa as well and regularly enter club contests. I enjoyed Pro/Am competitions, but I would also like to venture into competing as an Amateur couple. I regularly dance salsa at the Chesterfield on Saturday evenings and the occasional salsa at the VooDoo Lounge or at the Madrid on select Fridays. If you are in KC you know these places too. I've been dancing ballroom, Latin and ceroc to an intermediate standard for 7/8 years. My ballroom and Latin dancing in this time has been in one dance class, and I'm now keen to branch out and broaden my experience.

I am adicted to dancing Argentine Tango. The music is so varied, so there are infinite ways to express yourself with your partner.

I have background training in ballet, jazz, modern dance, and some hip hop. I started dancing ballroom when I was in college and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in ballroom dancing. I’ve competed professionally in American Smooth as well as American Rhythm for 4 years in the Rising Star and Open divisions, having made the finals in different events around the country. I am currently looking for a dance partner to compete professionally in American Rhythm. I work at a ballroom dance studio, so I usually train in the mornings before work Monday through Friday. Ocasionally on the weekends if necessary. My goal is to be a USA finalist in American Rhythm and hopefully one day win the title of “champion”.

I have always been passionate about dancing and never happier than when I am on the dancefloor but my husband is now unable to dance due to his knee arthritis so I am looking for a like minded soul who just wants to dance!

As a child I practiced ballet for 13 years and I also joined my grandparents in ballroom. As I got older I discovered Ceroc and did that for a while before getting totally hooked on salsa for the last 20 years. Just before Covid, I decided to return to the Ballroom and did a beginners course and managed 3 months before lockdown hit so I am now chomping at the bit to get back to it but not having a partner makes is very difficult in the Ballroom world.

I tend to pick up dance quite easily and follow a good lead well and I absolutely love dancing with someone more experienced than myself because I can follow quite well and so I feel that I am better than I actually am! LOL

I am a fun loving easy going sort who just wants to dance whilst I am still able!

I started dancing swing and then ballroom, mostly international style, with long side trips into hustle and Argentine Tango. In recent years, I have not danced as much as I would like.

Learning to respond to each dance partner's particular style and moves feels like the perfect end of the day..just following and being in the moment. Heaven.
