I am a scientist and I lead a research group at a university in Belgium. I was born and studied in Russia and I lived and worked in several other countries as well.

I started ballroom dance lessons six years ago and dance most days. I enjoy Latin, rhythm, smooth, and country dances. Preparation for several competitions each year motivates me to learn and improve. I am working on silver certifications this year.

Love to dance using a STYLE/FLAVOR that fits the particular dance/music; definitely not cookie-cutter, nor one size fits all.

Dance, like life, is all about STYLE (i.e., presentation). While Jitterbug is an appreciated dance of fun, the preferred is the mix of dances found in an Amore, Pittsburgh Ballroom or Orchard Hill Dance.

I have been dancing for 6 years and stopped dancing at this moment.

I Love all types of dancing,and would love my own partner for ballroom, sequence and social dances, and possibly lessons. Hi I’m Rose, a 53-year-old Christian divorced mother of two college boys. I love to Ballroom/Social Dance and would like to meet somebody who would like to share that activity with me. Ive been dancing since my teens. I am a beginning intermediate dancer and open to all styles of structured dance. I am familiar with the waltz, east and west coast swing, lindy, foxtrot, salsa, bachata, cumbria, and country two/triple two-step, but would enjoy most types of social dances. I dance weekly. I am seeking a local Christian gentleman in the area that enjoys the local ballroom/social dance scene and would like to join me.

I begin my dance journey a year and a half ago, without any dance background. I dove in headfirst and took all kinds of classes 7 days a week, and quickly moved up to advanced classes and private lessons. I am not looking to compete- just have fun social dancing and going to dance events once or twice a week.

Thrilled at discovery: from new dance steps to the leading edge in most fields--experimenting and synergizing with my partner. While I'm silver level, I have had advanced coaching and taken amateur 1st places in Rhumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba & Jive in neighboring cities. Since last year I've begun to take regular blocks of lessons (WCSwing & NiteClub2Step)and whatever a nifty teacher that comes to town and gets a class together for... (quick-step, waltz, tango, salsa, hustle). I've been out of the regular comp & showcase scene and getting some tune-up coaching after having gotten blurry on probably everything except hogging the local GR singles' dance floors in mild showoff mode every weekend.

I am alive to the idea world, (not the dry pedantic sort of intellectual), and aesthetics (of the bright & healing kind of fine arts) a Renaissance generalist, having been on the quest for truth, beauty and goodness in most of the traditional fields (art, philosophy, science and spirituality) and many of the alternative avenues and metaphysics--hence my becoming a lacto-veggie since pre-teen, a yoga meditator, and later studied Waldorf pedagogy, energy healing, bio-acoustics, massage, neutraceuticals, vegetarianism, Anthroposophy, Arica, Landmark Communication, ufology, spiritual science, wholistic studies, appropriate technology, listening to CoastToCoastAm, and NewDimensionsRadio etc. as well as hobbies of reading, biking, inline skating, photography, hiking, swimming, making & visiting fine arts...in between the dancing of course! ;^)

Just starting my dance journey, looking to practice so I can join the social dancing scene

I used to go social dancing about 30 years ago, but never got past beginner level. I'm retired from teaching so I have more time to practice and learn. I have taken a few free lessons at dance venues.

I was born in Puerto Rico but have been in U.S. for 25 years. I started dancing when I was a kid. I love to dance all types of music but I surely love to dance BACHATA(my favorite), Salsa, Merengue and everything that has music in it. Dancing is in my blood, I can dance even when I am sleeping.

I enjoy the latin style of dancing. I would like go find a dance partner to meet 3 or 4 times a week.

My past wife told me once that I didn't take her dancing, and I heard that loud and clear, decided I wanted to offer anyone in the future fun on the dance floor, so @20 years of dance lessons (which I've forgotten most of them, lol!) I love dancing, especially west coast swing. would like to meet a partner that enjoys dancing also.

I began with ballroom at 16. I’ve had many many lessons and attended dance camp several times. I’ve lived in Puerto Rico and have been dancing street salsa for over 25 years. I love anything Latin, west coast. I also have a lot of experience in clogging and hop polka. I’ve been away from ballroom for far too long and want to get active again on a regular basis. I’m single again but more interested in just dancing.

I have been learning to dance for over 2years and go to many social dances. I also enjoy the big band nights. Outside of dancing I keep active by running and mountain walking but dancing is my passion. I have a good sense of humor.
