I am an active amateur dancer seeking someone who is as interested in the lovely

argentine tango dancing as I am. I have danced amateur ballroom ( swing, foxtrot, merenge, mambo tango ) five years. I like to travel to experience what I have learned and to meet new people.

I am looking for an amateur dance partner for square dancing at regional or national dances. I would be open to learning round dancing too. I dance at the Plus level and am learning Advanced. Started dancing in 1994 without a partner. First fellow who became my partner passed aways right before graduating from square dance class. I married in 2008 and my husband started learning but has some physical/mental problems now that keep him from dancing Tired of being a wallflower! I have been a dancer of the above four styles with a stable partner since my late teenager years for a total of 8 years. Currently I participate in Zumba, an intensive Latin line dance, two or three times a week, continuously for 3 years.

My background is tap and ballet but began social dances a few years ago.

I have never done any competition type dancing. I really think dancing is for fun and preciseness is not necessary. There are no wrong moves. I think everyone should personalize their dancing to their own enjoyment.

I used to dance hustle every Monday night when I lived near DC. I miss it terribly because that was my happy dance. It would be a miracle to find a partner who loves to dance hustle as much as I do. I'm not really into dating, but I do like to go out and have fun at dance socials. I used to compete in international latin and standard, but that was over 10 years ago and all I've done since moving to Florida (and soon to TX) is social dancing like salsa, hustle, and rhythm/smooth.

I started dancing in 1989 but didn’t start in ballroom until 2010 in the Houston area. My favorite quote is “practice like you’ve never won. Perform like you’ve never lost” and truly, I try to do so. I have retired. Spent 32 yrs a hospital RN. Would get to the club or dance lessons whenever I could while working full time.

I learned to dance at an early age. Our family and relatives danced at most all family gatherings. I miss dancing very much. Dance speaks to your soul and soothes your body.. it's like another language that can be exciting, fun, laid back, and sensuous. I also enjoy family, golf, road trips and traveling. I am just recently retired and ready to savor the next chapter of my life.

My name is MaryEllen and I have been ballroom dancing for about 5 years. The first year I was taking private lessons in American Smooth and for the past 4 years I have been taking private lessons in International Standard. I also do East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing. I am very much interested in finding someone who would like to practice, dance socially, do some showcases and at some point in time compete.

I used to compete Open Gold International Latin 14 years ago, and stopped dancing for 13 years to raise kids. I got back into dancing in early 2022. I'm struggling to figure out where I fit in with dancing because my body doesn't move like it used too 🙄, so, competition might not be right for me...unless it's just for the fun of it or with the right person. I really love social dancing and want to focus on the joy of dancing. I wouldn't mind doing performances or shows, though. And I still remember a lot of Latin technique and I'm confident that I can be a decent practice partner for Latin or teach what technique I know.
