I just miss going country and western dancing.

I've been swing dancing for about 8 years. I enjoy east coast swing, lindy hop, blues and ballroom.

I'm at an intermediate stage where I'd really like to find a dedicated practice partner to help take my dancing to the next level. If I have a partner with good dance chemistry, I can literally "zone out" and enter a "creative space" that adds so much energy to the dance. I've literally stopped my follows before to ask them, "What did I just do and how did I do that, because that was pretty awesome"! I'd like to find someone willing to be experimental in this way; to take that "in the moment" energy and break it down and play with it to see what we can come up with together.

I'd really like to become more involved with demonstrations and other events, air steps and aeriels. Maybe even competitions, someday. I'm looking for a partner that is dedicated and willing to practice often. I'm known for dancing on stairs, leading two follows and if there is a camera (or a boyfriend) near, I sometimes have a tendency to show off!

I commenced dancing in October of 2012 by attending several workshops and dance lesson sessions to experience the different genres. I found that I enjoyed virtually every genre, causing me to work toward learning each so that I can lead and dance all the noted dance types at a relatively high degree of competence. I do not intend to enter competitions, but I am interested in attending lessons, workshops and seminars conducted by professional instructors at various locations in addition to attending dances in or out of the local region. I view dancing as a perpetually available life time recreational activity sponsored by multiple local, regional, national and international venues. For me, dance is becoming both the catalyst and conduit for social interaction, physical exercise and mental stimulation.

I am a very patient and charitable partner, willing to try the same steps as many times, for as long as necessary, so that both my partner and I are proud to dance the sequences. From my perspective practice after a lesson is the best way to get the most out of a lesson. I also enjoy utilizing instructional videos to learn and practice these techniques with a partner. If we need help, I would not be adverse to engage an instructor for assistance.

Since I am interested in multiple genres, I am open to arranging different schedules with different partners according to their individual interests and needs. I am able to provide facilities for practice and have a relatively flexible schedule.

I'm an experienced Salsa dancer ( 1 & 2 ). I have competed in beginner Smooth, but have practiced at a higher level. l also dance Argentine Tango, Brazilian Zouk, and WCS.

I first began to dance Latin Ballroom on the Dancesport Competition team at UCSD when I went to college there in 2002. I began competing with a partner in 2004 in 3-dance Latin and we took first place most of the time. I then moved to England and continued to dance 5-dance Latin with a new partner. After another 3 years I moved again and had difficulty finding another partner. I then began to explore other forms of dance: modern, Middle Eastern, Hip Hop and African, performing with groups and ensembles. So for the past many years I only danced Latin Ballroom socially. Now I would like to find a partner and get back into Latin ballroom, not for competitions, but more for fun and performance.

Hello, I am looking for a dance partner with whom I can to practice and take private lessons. I am a researcher and need fun time to get out of the brain. I used to compete on the collegiate scene about 15 years ago and am looking to slowly get back into the dance world mostly for fun and relaxation because I love to dance. As a child I was trained in pre-professional ballet so I am pretty keen on technique. My favorite part about dancing, especially with a partner, is learning new ways of moving and controlling the body. Often I love dancing just to learn technique, but it is totally fun to perform.
