I am currently taking lessons with a pro. I love international ballroom and that is where i focus most of my time. I have been dancing over 20 years and that includes American Smooth, and Latin.

I started ballroom dancing about 6 years ago. My goal is to be able to dance with most leads with confidence and comfort. For that, I need to practice on a regular basis. I would like to practice at least 1 hour per week but am open to more than that. I specifically enjoy American Smooth and American Rythmn, plus several social dances - salsa, hustle, night club 2, west coast swing, and bachata

Started to take ballroom classes in 2011. I have a very good frame and can follow the beat while listening. I performed in formations at Yankee and Commonwealth in 2012, but haven't competed. I would be interested in am-am bronze rumba. I don't practice enough outside of class, that is where you come in :) I think with more practice with a partner, I will have more confidence and can relax and enjoy dancing more. Sometimes when I get nervous, it is hard to hear the beat while dancing.

Since May I have been concentrating on West Coast Swing and have gotten a lot more comfortable and confident.

Haha. This is from 2013, I need to update this severely. I spent 2 years on West coast swing and then started learning kizomba and Forro. Those three are my primary dances with an occasional bachata.{2016 or 2017 update}

Now for a 2019 update, I don't dance swing much any more. I have grown to love the Brazilian culture around Forro and consider it my primary dance. I travel if it is a style I am focusing on. For example, I drive an hour to Somerville every Friday night to dance Forro. Like clockwork, you can always find me there. I still enjoy other dances and will travel to dance other styles as well.

I have been taking group and private lessons for a long time- in International Standard, seriously for some time. I have participated in pro-am competition with Stuart Cole and have always made the call backs-

Since finding a standard partner has been so difficult, I seriously have begun to concentrate on West Coast Swing....it has been a blast.

I am a youthful, outgoing, attractive woman who would like to find a partner to share life with...and one who I would enjoy dancing with. I have been taking private Ballroom and Latin American lessons weekly and attending group lessons for approx. 18 months now, to increase my dancing skills. About 10 years ago I obtain my bronze medals in Ballroom Dancing but have not used these until the last 2 -3 years. I have my own car and I am willing to travel to venues for social and practice nights.
