Shift into BLISS through dance! Once upon a time, figure skating was my all consuming PASSION. I've always loved being in motion, (ballet on ice, dancing, cycling,...). I LOVE the sensation of what I call 'flying on the ground'. Most of my dance experience has been in free form, some contact improv, and jazz dance. Now I would love to hugely improve my ballroom (partner dance) skills, explore the different styles of dance and eventually become very adept in Argentine Tango. Exercise and have fun at the same time!

I hope to compete. As a danceaholic I’m looking for a dance partner--no, not to dance through life with happily ever after, LOL. Seriously, a dance partner: someone who's willing to learn to dance or already knows how. If he turns out to be "the one", so much the better, but those things happen by themselves, naturally, without any effort.

I have dual careers: one intellectual and one artistic. I have an advanced university degree. I've worked in 43 countries and 34 states. Am working on a Ph.D. on a catch-as-catch-can basis/ Adore schmaltzy songs from the 1930s and 40s such as “DANCING CHEEK TO CHEEK”, “AT LAST” and “MY HEART STOOD STILL”.

I also enjoy dancing traditional dances to wild, contemporary music such as "DYNAMITE" by Taio Cruz, "BRING ME A HIGHER LOVE" by Steve Winwood, and "HOT HOT HOT" by Buster Poindexter.

Dance Professional with a great sense of humour, working as a teacher. like to practice a lot for comps,shows and performances. my goals for this year is to compete a lot, if I found the right partner? I'm willing to train the right person. I presently teaches the following dances: Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz, Quickstep, V. Waltz, Rumba, Cha cha, Samba, Salsa, Mambo, Bolero, Merengue, West coast & East coast Swing, NC2S, Hustle and wedding dances. I have some knowledge too of Argentine Tango, Bachata. I can only practice as of this time around San Jose, CA.

I've only recently started dancing Salsa and have been taking formal lessons. I would love to practice more regularly but do not know anyone near me who is really interested enough in Salsa to practice with.

My interest in this type of music goes back to many years when I moved to Miami from a country.where salsa.wasn't as popular. Being young and trying to fit in the latin world of dance in the capital of Salsa I started joining California style groups, rueda casino cuban style groups, and I am presently.still learning Salsa Caleña as dance.in Cali Colombia and I looove it.

I've some experience of various dance classes over the years including, jive, salsa and burlesque. I'd love to be a proficient dancer and have an opportunity to get fit and healthy in a more interesting way that a gym workout

Love to dance Rock' n' Roll and Latin and have danced intermittently over the last 20 yrs. I am happy to go to classes and /or practice with a regular partner mainly for regular social dancing.

During the past few years I have come to realise that I have found a hobby that I passionately love, this is dancing. I help to teach and have taken up to my Gold star two in ballroom and latin, and am currently learning the leaders steps. I have also been doing Salsa dancing for about two years which i enjoy. All I need now is to find a partner that feels the same way.

I took some classes and fell in love with dancing. I am still beginner, but have good feeling about movements and rhythm. I'd like to resume practicing Std.ballroom/std.latin/salsa.

I frequent the many Salsa dance evenings in Pittsburgh, Do class on Sunday and attend Pittsburgh USA Ballroom Dance functions.

Update: Actually I had one very nice Jitter Bug with a dance pro I met near the Santa Monica Peer in September 2012 before my nieces wedding. A favorite memory!

Most recently did demonstration Salsa dances December 1, 2012 at the Palisades, 2012 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and 2014 at Absolute Ballroom.

I dance a lot of Latin, excellent lead in Salsa, technical and creative but not highly schooled until recently. Good lead for Jitter Bug Swing. I creatively patch occasional Swing and other moves into my Latin dance and have a number of my own moves. I did 40 months of Argentine Tango but left to pursue Latin and Swing.

If you play the leading lady part on occasion, I can quickly adjust and make you look good. A little extra excitement goes a long way. :)

I have been dancing since I was about 6 years old but that was only me teaching myself. I sorta just danced to show how I was feeling. When I got into high-school i did theatre, and then I started taking Ballroom and Belly dance classes for a few years. I really love dancing lyrical and contemporary though. But I have been teaching myself hip-hop for about a year now. I just really want a partner to grow in my dancing, and I really want to perform again.

I did Flamenco for 9 years and have been doing ballroom for 7.5 years. I have done tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and Latin social dancing as well. I have placed high in both closed smooth and closed rhythm professionally (1st, 2nd, 3rd) as well as I have placed high in open rhythm and open smooth (1st, 2nd, 3rd). I am a hard worker and dancing is my passion, I also like to think I'm a fun a happy person. I do not want dancing to become "work" I want to enjoy dancing and competing with my partner. I have had trouble looking for a professional partner for 2 years because most of the people in my region already have set pro partners or people are too new. I hope to find a great fit for me to start competing again in American 9 dance.

I have enjoyed many years of experience and dance training in cha cha, rumba, merengue, salsa, belly dancing, bachata, ballet, and ballroom experience, take regular yoga classes, and enjoy modeling and acting. I am interested in training, competitions, performances.

I started dancing with a partner for 1.5 years. Then I moved and have been dancing without a partner for a year. I enjoy latin, however I am able to do ballroom too.

I have always enjoyed dancing. Where I come from ballroom dancing lessons were compulsory at the age of 17, once completed we were allowed to go to winter balls. I moved to London 20 years ago and somehow the dancing slipped aside.

Last year I took up modern jazz lessons and I re-discovered the love of dancing and rhythm. I would like to go back to ballroom, hence looking for a committed partner. I wish to start ballroom and Latin dance lessons on a regular basis.

I consider myself to be living a healthy lifestyle, mostly vegetarian. I am a very young looking and acting 58 yo. I have an excitement for life and I love to laugh. MY interests are of course dancing. I also love anything outdoors, walking, hiking, kayaking, skating etc. I ama a very honest and trustworthy person.

I do not have much formal dance training although I have taken lessons occasionally. I do love to dance and move my body and have never done enough of it. I would like to learn just about any style, but am quite interested in the Argentine Tango.
