I’m looking for a dance partner mainly for bachata and salsa but if you can do ballroom and/or line dancing (I’m a bit behind on that one:)) that would be great too:)

I usually go every Tuesday to a place in HB and it would be nice to have someone I can trust instead of a bunch of strangers who expect some more then dancing..

I began ballroom dancing and am now star 4 my last exam a month ago

I got 93 ballroom and 94 latin however if my partner is only musical with no medals that will do fine

I danced for two years in a German dance school until gold/dance club. I‘m also dancing a little bit Argentinian tango - M2 level. In Germany I also was dancing Bavarian folk danke.

Danced for a couple of years and then didn’t dance for 6 years. I have been back since September pretty consistently. I love salsa - it’s a passion. I have decided to make dance a priority in my life this year. Getting ready to join a dance team to begin performing.

I was inspired by Strictly Come Dancing, although I did learn as a child and did exams. I started ballroom/latin and sequence dancing lessons 6 years ago, having forgotton everything I had learned as a child!! I have taken to dancing quite well and challenge myself by taking exams. I am also learning Argentine Tango. I have liked all the dances I have learned so far and like to work on technique in my weekly private lessons. I have recently moved to Enschede from Munich, Germany. I do primarily International Standard. I danced in B class in Germany (mid-to-upper B class, I'd say). I learnt to dance in California, where I lived for 6 years, and then in London, where I spent 3 years. I haven't done Latin in many years and my level is much lower (D?), but I could consider taking it up again for the right partner. My priority is Standard, though.

Use to dance in my childhood, but now really love to learn bachata

I have background from sport gymnastic from my 6-12ages, contemporary dance for 7 years, after I learned hungarian folk, actrobatics, salsa on2, and zouk. I would like to practise and be zouk teacher.

I started ballroom lessons earlier this year and plan to continue practicing and improving at social dancing. I would love to have a regular partner/s for practice and social dancing. I have done (and taught) country line dancing and patterned country partner dances (like Wooden Nickel, Sidekick, Horseshoe Shuffle) for years.

I am moving to Ontario, somewhere between Waterloo and Owen Sound to be near my son. I have been into partner dancing since about 1988. Two step and west coast swing are my favorite, I also do progressive/triple two step/double shuffle, and would love to learn cha cha. I love to dance, and I would love to meet other people that love to dance - it is so much fun to go dancing with a group of people.

I started dancing in Orlando and met many dancers at all skill sets. We all started with the same basics. I like Smooth and Rythm dances. My favorites are foxtrot, quick step, country 2 step, Cha-Cha, and rumba. I am working on improving my East Coast and West Coast Swing. I Currently take private lessons once a week. I have also started pickleball. Such great fun on the 4 neighborhood courts.

I grew up with Bollywood Dance and trained in Contemporary Dance at Hunter College. I fell in love with Salsa and Bachata during college and learned Hustle and Zouk soon after. I also studied Lifts and Dips with Dave Paris, semi-finalist on America's Got Talent, for two years. I am currently focusing on ballet and strength training. I teach Zumba as well.

I originally trained, worked and competed professionally with FADS in Warren, Ohio. I moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1995 and continued teaching, performing and choreographing there with both Del Mar College and independently until my return home in 2009. My partner moved to Florida in 2014 and since then I've only danced off and on.

I was a ballroom dance teacher during my young 20s and has since moved in a professional field.

Interests: Improvised Partner Dance, Flow Arts, Contact Improv, Performance Dance, Experimental Dance

Goals: I would like to explore improvised partner dance of any form (Argentine Tango, contact improv, etc) with a dedicated and open-minded dance partner who shares my enthusiasm for good music and experimentation.

Training:

I have training in belly dance, ballet, tap, production line dancing, pole dancing, burlesque and Butoh. I have had some training in Argentine Tango and I would like to learn more. I LOVE the freedom of Ecstatic Dance and I attend on a weekly basis. I also have extensive martial arts training, which can occasionally influence how I move. :)

Experience:

I've been dancing since I came out of the womb and I have decades of formal and informal experience.

I have choreographed dance for the stage and I have taught intermediate and advanced tap dance to students (ages 11 to 70). My experience reflects how much I enjoy performance. I am an award winning burlesque dancer and I occasionally perform in the DMV. I am a member of 2 short form improv groups (not exactly dance, but it integrates a lot of what I do best in dance: comedy/physicality/performance.)

I am a free-spirited, passionate dancer who can get really good with the right partner and focus. Easy-going personality with an open mind for fun. Main focus is Latin and Ballroom Dance but maybe swing dancing in the near future.
