Danced for a few years as a student in the Fred Astaire studio in Ft Walton Beach, Fl working through my Bronze program. While there, I got a few amateur competitions under my belt as well as a few show performances. Moved to NC and wasn't able to find a studio that was close enough to go to regularly, so I danced on and off for a couple more years. Now its been about a year and a half and I miss it too much. I wish I could practice everyday learning as much as possible, but for now I think I would like to focus on the social dances and just have fun.

I love dancing. Right now I do Zumba 3-5 times/week. But I would love to find an active partner who would enjoy dancing as much as I do.

Have danced for 35+ years, hustle when that was popular, moving on to WCS, & how hand dancing & bop, with some ballroom, e.g. cha-cha, waltz, rumba (international & American) sprinkled in over the years. Hi! I'm Mila and I've been dancing/competing on the university dance circuit in for two years. Now that I've graduated, I'm looking for a partner to continue training with and hopefully also compete with as an ex student at university competitions. I have some basic grounding in all ten dances, but competed on the university circuit in the Novice category, mostly in the main four dances. Pre-COVID, I was working towards taking the bronze ISTD exams (and hope to get back to it ASAP). I'm looking to continue to improve and work on my technique and performance in all dances - and hopefully compete too, once it's safe to again!

For what ever reason, the music really get into my soul and I think it is the most sensual dance I have ever seen. Started as a Break Dance and hip-hop dancer, later became interested in Latin Dance and Tango, recently have found African Pop dances interesting and willing to learn new dances, very open to the idea.

Owned a dance studio before so I’ve had opening another dance studio on my mind for a long time now, also could be a dance club or just being able to practice for a show or a competition, that would make me feel happy.

I am a competitive Ballroom dancer. I danced Pro Am at Arthur Murray with Simone Zat (past Canadian Champion in 10 dances with Fanny Gaudin). Competed last year in 3 competitions including La Classique Du Quebec in full Bronze in American style rhythm and placed very well.

Presently I am doing Am Am with Christian Millette (present Amateur Canadian Champion). Did one competition with him in Ottawa in Latin International Silver and did well.
