I dance for many years. I love Ballroomdancing. Before I came to NY, I became a danceteacher in Germany. I retired from professional dancing approximately 5 years ago and started a family. Now I would like to practice once or twice a week as exercise.

I like dancing as training and exercise.

Have 4.5 years experience both in Latin/Ballroom dancing, especially for competition.

Current location is Tokyo, but perhaps it may be able to relocate more flexibly after COVID-19 pandemic.

I have taken private and group lessons from a multitude of dance studios and instructors over the years. Years ago I competed, mostly within the Arthur Murray system. I have performed several showcases. I prefer social dancing to doing routines.

I am generally a very good lead and am currently dancing somewhere at between an advanced bronze and silver level. I have pretty good technique and could compete if I wanted to.

My wife likes dancing with her dance instructor and I enjoy dancing with other amateurs. Although we both ballroom dance, we have found that we are happier when we do it separately. I am happily married and am only looking for a dance partner.

Been country couples since 2003. Took private lessons as well as group lessons on east and west coast swing, two step and various other dances. I enjoy ballroom but pretty much one step up from beginner. Interested in pursuing that more.

Phase 2,3,4 round dancing in most rhythms. Only mainstream and plus for squares. Both since 2006. Recently started contra. Country western since late 70’s. I travel several days a week to dance. I am usually a pretty good follower.

I enjoy dancing and studying classic Argentine Tango. I try to dance 2 to 3 times a week at lessons and/ or a milonga. I practice whenever there is an opportunity but enjoy dancing for the sheer joy of the mastery of it and moving and expressing ourselves to the music. Performing is fun too! I dance at intermediate level, am looking for someone who, like me, enjoys dancing and getting better at it which keeps it interesting, my partner should already know lead basics OR really want to learn how including putting in a little time to make good muscle memories. I enjoy salon, milonga, and close embrace and slower as well as faster tango, valse, milonga and even nuevo tango music.

We could meet at a milonga or a classic class with Paul Parmentier in Henderson. I spend about $15 a lesson but will treat myself to lessons with super pro leads every now and then just for the wonder of the experience.

My favorite studio is Atomic Ballroom in California but milongas in town here can be satisfying too.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. Hello, I have been dancing both competitively and socially and would consider myself an advance amature. Although it is soemthing I do for fun I do take it very seriously and value the hard work it takes to improve. I am fortunate that my work exposes me to some of the best dancers in the Ballroom, Swing, and Hustle world. The inspiration I draw from these dancers motivates me to continue to improve my dancing. I currently have a partner for International Standard and we compete in USA Dance Senior division.

I am an active person who enjoys people and many sports.

Dancing has been my passion for many years. While I dance many styles, I've only competed in Standard and American smooth. I have been at an open gold level for several years. I've competed in Pro/Am twice a year for 15 years, but have had to work around my family's schedule. Now that my children are in college, I'm traveling to more comps and taking more lessons and coaching.

I used to be a top amateur ballroom and Latin dancer in my 20s but packed it in to persue my career. I am now 57 and starting to come back to it. I am still slim and fit and can still dance at a high standard. Are there any really good dancers about ?

Im an easy going type person: I don't make a fuss about most stuff.

I like to workout and I can hold intelligent or completely daft conversations without too much trouble.

I've danced to Gold Bar III in fourteen dances...yes , all the Latin dances as well.

I've competed to quite a high standard in athletics in the past so competition dancing doesn't phase me but I'd rather just be competent with a friend, mate or whatever.

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

I love dance for sociability and for mental and physical health. I learn from online instruction WCS ECS and others. I am a retired Math instructor. I was extremely shy as a child and well into my youth... catching up on social skills ever since. Accustomed to living self-reliant alone, I married for the first and only time at 63 years... a good 15 year marriage, but as caregiver to my wife the last seven years before her death in January 2023. I am easygoing, gentle, and caring... risk averse, not competitive and don't follow sports. I am happy, healthy, fit and active, and I have always been self-care dilligent. I am debt free but not wealthy; my home passes to step children upon my death. I garden, foodscaping my home and sharing garden surplus.

I have been a competitive ballroom dancer, teacher and performer for over 20 years. My mother was also a professional ballroom dancer. She danced with her brother Art in a lot of the big cities in the United States, But mostly in New York. When I was a senior in High School, I was voted best dancer for the yearbook. After college, I got a job at Arthur Murray's dance school. I taught at the Arthur Murray's in Wayne PA., Narberth PA. and Wilmington DE. Today I have my own dance business.
