I'm just looking to learn and practice for fun with any age. Open to monthly Friday socials. My husband can't dance due to back pain and a shoulder injury. I'm beginner level salsa and interested in trying West Coast Swing.

I work hard but I play hard, too. I am loyal and very dependable. My interests include all kinds of dancing and many types of fitness workouts. I am only interested in relationships related to dancing or working out to start. I love to travel and since my children are grown, I have been able to travel a lot. I like going to plays and festivals. I’m very easygoing and get along with most people. I am proud of all my family. Family is important to me and although I already have a very full life, I’m looking for someone to share the joys and sorrows of life.

Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Lindy Hop

I have been dancing since childhood. I love to dance and wish I could dance more often. Although I am enrolled in ballroom dance classes/lessons, I need to practice to improve. Unfortunately my husband cannot be my partner because he is a non-dancer. I like to go out to social dancing. Since he does not dance, my husband has no objection if I go to dance halls with a dance partner.

I've been taking lessons, both private and group, for about 30 years. I love all American style dances. I've done some pro-am competition. I'd like to do more competitions, perhaps with another amateur. I enjoy doing showcases.

A hopeless outdoorsy romantic who unwittingly fell in love with Contra dancing 18yrs ago (still my favorite dance).

I also love 14 other ballroom & swing dances--& have been a dance class junkie the last 12yrs (mostly West Coast Swing). I usually take 1-2 group dance lessons 4 nites/wk--followed by 1-3hrs of social dancing. Plus one private lesson with champion instructor the last few months.

Also take lots of classes at 3-5 WCS conventions per yr, plus 5-7 Contra festivals, & one Country wkend. Dance wkends are usually my favorite times of the year. Almost forgot: it's great fun dancing to live music at Blues clubs & other venues 1-3x/month.

Other interests: bicycling (tandem, mtn, road, touring), hiking, traveling, musical & dance performances, movies, plus public TV/radio. Am a politically liberal Unitarian who is very respectful of the views of others.

I dance Argentine Tango and always want to improve; I love that it is improvised and invites a response to the music and the occasion. I listen to the music rather frequently and occasionally play the music. Why not ping me a greeting?

So how did I get here?

My interest in dance was re-kindled from the music and a desire to try something new and totally different. Whilst I enjoy a wide range of musical styles, my dance interest is focused on Argentine Tango - and still within the first few years, so International Maestras need not apply. But I am enthusiastic and working to improve the quality of connection and communication through dance, allowing ample opportunity for a partner to express themselves and to practice on a shared agenda.

I have been working with several very supportive teachers, so opportunities for classes and milongas are always in the diary, if that is of interest. I'm also a musician, so it goes without saying that interpretation of the music is a goal and the improvised nature of Argentine Tango is a perfect vehicle. I'm not interested in competition, medals or choreographed routines, but enjoy social dancing and continuously improving the dance experience.

I have taken basic and intermediate lessons and it has been said that I am a good follower and light on my feet. I dance for the joy of it. Am looking for a dance partner friend, not a boyfriend. I can dance to the fast east coast tunes. My favorites are Rumba, cha cha, east & west coast swing. I’d like to get better at fox trot, salsa and waltz.

I am passionate about dancing and am told that I am good, unfortunately I have recently lost a wonderful dance partner and would dearly love another. I am told I that am glamorous on the dance floor and good fun, which I feel it has to be for a lovely evening of dancing. I am mainly interested in an ARGENTINE TANGO partner, but have danced various international dance styles (International Standard and Latin/Ballroom, Jive, Salsa, Hustle/Swing) for about 15 years mainly in Switzerland on a social level. Meanwhile, I have arrived at Argentine Tango, which is now my main focus. I started five years ago, stopped again and am now dancing for about four years again.

I dance and practice two to six times a week Argentine Tango on an intermediate level. I am now looking for a partner because on this level, quite some practise is necessary to improve further. I would not mind trying with a beginner however, being well aware of the limited number of experienced dancers in the area.

Sensitive and responsive as a "Stradivari violin" ;) I find an eternal bliss in the union and the unison of the partners and the music, that creates that unique out-of-this-world performance and brings a tear to spectators. The kind of performance that touches everyone's heart and is the ultimate expression of our feelings and emotions. That is what I strive to achieve as a consummate professional and express with my body and every step and movement that I make with it. (Wow! I am not sure how I came up with all this, (well, the compliment was a true one from someone), but other than that, it must have been after watching one of those performances, I think by Mirko and Edita, or Katusha and Arunas, or Yulia & Riccardo.. - they leave me so moved and inspired and eager to go to the dance floor right away and practice day and night till I am as good. These couples are so breathtaking and so inspiring!) Otherwise, I am totally normal, but according to others - multi-talented, smart, beautiful, funny and sensuous girl, radiating happiness and passion on the dance floor, capturing eyes & hearts of the spectators & judges. :) Let's meet and see if we click together.

I started dancing as a freshman in college. Not knowing anybody on campus, I joined the school swing club to make new friends. That was more than 15 years ago, and since my college days, I haven't really had anyone to dance with as a regular thing. I still go to dance nights from time to time, but it's always up in the air as to whether I can find a partner.

I have been always loved dancing. I took some ballroom dancing when I was a child. Recently fall in love with Argentinian Tango.

Well, I love to dance, I like to learn differente dances, for Example, I don't know to dance Tango, but I want to learn, 80's Music, and Salsa too.

I've been socially dancing ballroom, latin, CW, swing, Argentine tango for a long time. I love it all and ready to hit the floor after this past year of isolation!

I danced with the MIT ballroom dance team during grad school and competed in amateur competitions in the Boston area for ~6 years. It was so much fun that I participated in as many competitions as my schedule would allow including MIT, Harvard, Yale, Brown and Boston University competitions placing in the finals of Standard, Latin, and Smooth. My proficiency when I stopped competing was Gold level. I took a break from dancing after I completed grad school but would like to get back into it. I think ballroom dancing is like Oxygen. You cannot live without it! :)
