I’m a Cajun Texan and grew up crossing the border to Louisiana go cajun dancing frequently as a child, so I learned that waltz styled jig from an early age and grew into country and salsa dancing.

I just started dancing recently (June 2022) and for now just doing it purely for fun, as my therapy. I love American smooth dances, but open to some Latin. For some reason, I am not crazy about salsa. I am a beginner and still very conscious and most times a bit scared on the dance floor. I am looing for someone who is around that same level and wants to grow. The goal is to get through a dance with eyes closed and not thinking about mistakes.

Not thinking about competitions at this time, but hey - never say never.

Looking for a dance and business partner. I’ve started a company to do quarterly events and could really use the help. My last partner is great with dancing but our business goals were different. Also I don’t have kids so my schedule is flexible able to travel and out in the work when needed! I love Latin styles, zouk, performance based dancing and choreographing amateur teams. I started dancing a little over a year ago and have concentrated on American Smooth, and competed in 4 regional and national competitions since beginning this new passion. I would like to continue to improve in smooth and begin the elements of rhythm. Though, I admit, it scares me a bit!

I looking for partner for practice and competition. I will study in Salzburg in ballet academy from September 2007 for 3 next year, I am 30,1.67 tall. I dance standart moust off all but can dance latin.

I am a seasoned dancer, performer and I have done some competitive dancing as well in Int. Latin and Am. Rhythm. I was trained in Eastern Europe and I have danced since I was 6years of age.

I began taking private lessons at the beginning of the new year. I have learned East Coast Swing. I am hoping to learn tango and salsa soon. Dancing is so much fun!

I’ve only been dancing for about a year, but I am one of the most competitive students in my region. I learn quickly, and I am a very confident lead. I am also comfortable with cabaret and overhead lifts for show routines. My goal is to train for national and international competitions, and to enjoy everything the sport has to offer. If you are a more experienced dancer, I have some gaps in my knowledge due to my lack of experience, but I learn very quickly and will work to overcome any skill gaps ASAP.

I am currently a dance major at UCLA studying various styles of dance. I am a ballroom dance instructor at Pasadena's Dance Street studio, but I live in Westwood. I have danced for six years. I am a hard worker and desiring to compete. I am a very funny goofy guy but I also know how to focus and work hard.

Since I was young, I have loved all forms of face and partner dancing has become a passion so strong I am considering re-locating to a larger city to further my skills particularly in WCS, Zouk, and Lindy Hop. I am currently self employed and curious about moving my business somewhere else in Canada! I love the outdoors, cooking, hanging with my friends, puppy and being creative!

I learned ballroom in college; however, I didn't get back into until 4 years ago. I have only been social dancing since then and don't currently take any classes, but have taken some since I started dancing again.

Former ballroom dance teacher and I'd like to get back into dancing since it has been a while. Formerly taught west coast swing, foxtrot, chacha, rhumba and tango. Would like to learn more salsa and go to local clubs to dance for fun.

I'm addicted to dancing. My first love is latin, but I also like standard. I did all of my training up to now in NC with top latin coaches while on the collegiate team. All in all, I've been dancing about years 6 now.

I have a very good Salsa instructor, but I'm a pilot- so my training has been sporadic due to my schedule and the fact that I'm traveling over half the month.

I have been dancing and competing in other styles such as ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and belly dancing since I was 5 years old. Partner dancing/ballroom/Latin took over my life in college and I actually created a minor for myself in Ballroom! I absolutely love latin and ballroom and keep getting so close to going pro but have had 2 different partners fall through/move to east coast. I am at the level to start Rising Star and will make it my priority to kick butt. I have taken Ballroom Lessons in several different series from a variety of instructors through the years, enough to know what I enjoy, and what I would need more work on to be able to enjoy (like Tango). I just love to dance, period. I find that East Coast Swing , specifically Lindy Hop is my favorite, and that is sometimes hard to find in East Texas. I think Salsa is my second favorite. I'm open to most styles, and enjoy learning from a good lead.

Multiple salsa lessons taken during teenage years.

I learnt traditional dancing for years as a kid. Ever since then I was exposed to different types of dancing - ballroom, ballet, hip-hop, salsa here and there but never became a professional or anything. My current interests are in Hispanic dances but also open to other types of ballroom, ballet or even figure skates etc.

I've been dancing salsa and bachata for about a year and a half and I love them. I'm better at salsa than bachata but I would like to bring my bachata up to the same level. I'm also interested in learning Zouk and Kizomba but I'm a newbie in both. My goal is become a better social dancer, and I would like to train with a regular partner weekly.

I competed for the first time at DanceFest in Waltz in Newcomer and Bronze category. My partner and I placed 2nd.

I also compete in Latin at Newcomer/Bronze level, and got 2nd in Rumba and 3rd in Cha Cha. Currently learning Samba.

Currently looking for a dedicated dance partner for Open Amateur Latin category. I train with Maria Nikolishina & Nikolay Voronovich in Los Angeles, CA. I take dance very seriously and view it as a sport (I've played team sports basketball for years). Therefore I set goals and maintain a strict routine of training, work out, diet, supplement, sleep just as a top level athlete would.

Finally, I follow 3 simple rules when it comes to practice, competition, and showcase and would ask my partner to have her own voice on the following:

I. Practice to look right. Not to look good.

II. Compete as if it was your last.

II. Showcase your partner. Not yourself.

Like to dance just for the pure joy of it! Many years ago I did some salsa competitions and used to teach beginner Salsa/Merengue/Bachata lessons but now just dance for fun.
