I had one year of ballroom lessons about 5 years ago when I lived in NJ. Last year was an extremely difficult year on a few different fronts but I'd like to start out the new year on the right foot (so to speak) by dancing again. I've found that it's much more fun to have a regular partner. My schedule would allow for class/practice evenings twice a week plus socially on weekends.

I've been dancing all of my life starting with ballet at the age of eight years old. I continue with ballroom dancing locally.

I started dancing 2 years ago and fell in love with it. I am fairly athletic and coordinated, having been a competitive figure skater when I was young. As a part of my figure skating training, we did ballet, and I also did tap dancing as a child. I therefore progressed reasonably quickly in my dance lessons, and competed in full bronze (Pro-Am) in the past six months. I am presently dancing in both American rhythm and smooth.

Hello! I'm looking for a dance partner for social, practice, and competitive dancing in American Rhythm and Smooth. I have been ballroom dancing about 15-20 hours a week for the last year, and am looking to expand further into the competition world. I have aspirations to dance professionally and teach at some point in the future, but have been advised to stay in the amateur categories for as long as possible to promote my exposure and further develop my skills. During the day, I work in financial compliance from home. My fiance is a wonderful dance-mom type who fully supports my dancing and wants me to go as far as I can!

I’ve wanted to learn to dance since my 20s but career and child rearing didn’t leave time for it. In February, I went on a cruise with a friend and the first day we met a dance instructor from Toronto who was traveling by himself and looking for a dance partner. I had packed my dancing shoes and he spent the next three weeks teaching me beginning dance.

So far, I’m best at salsa, second best at rumba and still working on cha-cha and swing. As soon as I came home I signed up for both private and group lessons and I have been learning other dances including the waltz, foxtrot, some line dances, etc.

I’m practicing my steps every day but would love to have someone to practice with and to dance with.

I am having the time of my life with this. I was widow two years ago and I have found my way back to being happy and dance is contributing to that greatly (although I was already pretty happy before I started dancing).

Even though I want to practice every day and dance as often as possible, I am interested in dancing with individuals who aren’t able to spend as much time as I want to spend dancing. I don’t know if I can find one person who wants to dance as frequently as I do.

Ive been teaching ballroom dance for 6 years

Here in atlanta GA , I've been wanting to be a professional ballroom dancer ever since I was a little girl and saw the opportunity to teach after I got my B.S. in Animal science, now I want to dip my feet into the Profesional competition world, my main goal is to be a 19 dance champion but for now just getting back out on the competition floor since the pandemic

I started dancing in Dallas after my husband of 30 years died and did some senior competition in Jitterbug (east coast swing) took many lessons in other dances. After many years later when I came to Austin, where my kids are, and I started dancing again. I am a single widow, but crazy and very active. I enjoy a good and loyal friend. I am well educated and enjoy intelligent conversation. I have an associate's degree and was an engineering tech for 10 years at Texas Instruments in Dallas. My name is Elizabeth and I am a trained Latin and American Rhythm professional dancer. In the early years of my career, I competed in open Latin Amateur competitions throughout Florida winning 1st place in Amateur Rising Star. Later after going professional, I competed in numerous Fred Astaire Chicagoland regional professional competitions as well as Rising Star American Rhythm with my independent partner. As a professional instructor, I was also trained in American Smooth, Salsa, and other social dance styles and competed Pro-Am with many students. My interests are in American Rhythm; however, I would also consider American Smooth for the right partner. in 2014, I started ballroom dancing and became an instructor in 2017. My specialties are American Smooth and Rhythm dances but I do International Standard and Latin as well. I train and practice everyday as well as do coaching with a regional pro every week. My goal is to become a champion in American Smooth and/or Rhythm. My passion is teaching and one day to become a Dance Board member and a national coach

Social dancer with preferences towards Latin dances.

I obtained gold (distinctions) in both Latin and ballroom some fifteen years ago, and then danced for one of the top dance universities at university competition level, concentrating on Latin. After a long break I have rediscovered the dance bug! I want to be able to pick up the phone to someone who can dance different dances, and say "Come on lets go and dance," and then to go and dance the whole evening. With the right partner, I would happily have more tuition, and would consider occasionally competing again. Over the last year I have fallen in love with Argentine Tango too.

I ballroom dance 4 - 5 times per week & am looking forward to competing & performing more this year! It would be great to meet a guy who shares my passion for dancing and is of a like mind about the sensuality and creativity of ballroom dancing.

I do ballroom ,Latin , new vogue , street Latin . My favourite dance is salsa , l have been dancing for 9 years doing competitions and one time doing the Australian Dancesport Competition .
