I love American Smooth dances.. waltz. Foxtrot, American tango and Vieneese Walrz, Nightclub two-step, Cha cha. I am open to learning Argentine Tango. I enjoy cruises once or twice a year. Social dancing locally the rest of the year. I enjoy performing with my dance teacher and would enjoy dancing with my own partner... but it is perfectly OK if performing is not for you.

Dancing has been my passion since I was a child. When I found ballroom 18 years ago I discovered I love practice and training almost as much as I love competing and performing. I have trained in International Style Latin and Standard and I have an interest in American Smooth.

I live dancing but never be able to meet someone who have the same interests and willing to give it a try with me. I have a pair of dancing shoes hanging in my closet for the past 20 years and I'd love to wear it to a real ballroom for once or twice before I die. lol. Anyway, I live all dances but mainly latin or ballroom.

Recently moved to Los Angeles, and would like to practice LA style salsa and bachata. I'm very friendly and supportive and here to simply find a positive, friendly dance partner so we can help each other improve.

My dance history: I've been an active partner dancer, primarily latin dances (salsa, bachata, son, cumbia, etc.), since 2004. Have focused mainly on Cuban style salsa (i.e. casino), son, etc. Have taught in San Francisco during the years 2006-2010. Have performed during the years 2009 - 2012. Traveled to Cuba for dance immersion workshops twice. Can dance on any step (on1, on2, on5, etc.). Generally a good sense of music/musicality (I also play Jazz piano).

I have taken a number of group dance lessons in Modern Jive, Jive, West Coast Swing, American Tango, Argentine Tango, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Samba, Westchester Foxtrot, SocialFoxtrot, Rumba, Lindy Hop, and Country Two Step and very much enjoy listening to music and dancing. Music and dancing reaches right into the very heart of me. I very much enjoy dancing of all types and would like to get more proficient at it and learn more dance types as well including Mambo, bachata, and other types. I have been doing serious dancing now since retiring in the Fall of 2013.

Besides dancing I live a very healthy and active lifestyle enjoying camping and fishing, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, bowling, golf, curling, gardening, cooking, theater and symphony, traveling and exploring new areas art galleries and museums, snowshoeing, games and cards, skating, and am open to many other activities such as tennis, pickleball, basketball, soccer, bocce, etc,

I'm am a well-trained, experienced and successful international standard senior (over 35) amateur dancer with training from world-class coaches. Currently I am competing in Pro/Am but I am interested in finding an Amateur partner for practice or competition. I have extensive experience both in Am/Am and Pro/Am competition. My husband and I began ballroom and sequence dancing 6 years ago and he was better than I but we both loved it. He has died suddenly and I so want still to dance but I recognise that I will have to adapt to a different partner. I particularly enjoy tea dances and lighthearted lessons. I also do line dancing. I do need practice opportunities to master steps and have ready access to premises where this can easily be achieved.

I love any type of dancing. My favorite is Rumba and east coast swing. I am an amateur dancer, no competition. I used to go dancing 3 times a week before covid. I have a lot of energy and can dance for hours. I also did a few dancing cruises.
