Amateur dancer in touch with the passion of salsa dancing and willing to put it into action on the dance floor. I, also, love to dance merengue, rumba, bachata, or even to learn to tango. Ole! I have seen casino style salsa which is a cuban style "rueda" of salsa dancing. Just imagine 4 or more couples in a circle dancing salsa interchangably. It fun watch them dance.

I've had the opportunity to go to a dance studio in LA which held a ladies styling mini camp class. It was great learning new routines and applying these techniques at the club. In the near future, I will be looking forward to attend a 6 hr. salsa bootcamp class to be held in LA.

My primary goal is competing though I'm open to performances if it doesn't interfere with competition training. I have just commenced classes at a Dance Studio located in the Adelaide CBD and would like a regular dance partner. My particular interests are: Argentine Tango, Ballroom Tango, and Rumba. Am also interested in other styles currently being taught at the Studio I am currently with. Am definitely in the 'beginner' category, and am enjoying so much have decided that I must continue.

A single man and an Engineer by profession, I have spent many years working in male dominated workplaces and until recently, on a remote Mining site in NSW. I have trained in various forms of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop) since I was about 5 years old, though not all consistently up to now. I graduated from college with a minor in dance, training in ballet, jazz, and modern dance. My extracurricular dance activities included competitive ballroom, swing club, and belly dance. My goals are to continue to progress through the amateur competitive levels, and right now I am looking to move from Gold into Novice by the end of the competitive season. I work with coaches in the DC area and would like to practice mostly in DC and Northern Virginia, as I have a full-time job and that would make it easier to get in practice time.
