I have Formal ballroom training and certification in International Standard and Latin through ISTD(Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing). Teaching dance is truly my passion and I love to perform show pieces. Never competed, unsure of it, maybe if the right person with the right chemistry comes along. For now I concentrate on increasing my skills in technique as well as academic syllabus training.

I'm interested in social dancing and events. I'm a beginner+ in East Coast Swing, Hustle and Salsa. I've been taking classes for two years near me in these dances and going to social events and would like to expand opportunities for dancing and interacting with like-minded people.

Thoroughly enjoy dancing. Favourites are rumba, slow waltz, salsa and bachata. I would rather dance and have fun than sit it out!

I have been dancing since college, and I am completely addicted! I started competing when I was living in southern California, and I found I really enjoy the challenge.

I don't have trouble finding partners to dance with at ballroom events since i can lead well and really enjoy dancing. However, most of my practice time is with my instructor and i would like to complement that with a dance partner.

I have a lot of fun dancing but am also serious about learning.

My dance background is mostly in Hip Hop but i have been dancing Ballet, contemporary, and Jazz for a long time as well. I have some training in specific ballroom styles like the cha cha as well as the waltz but pretty limited.

Happy and easy-going, I dance for fun. 8 years of East Coast Swing made the last 3 years of ballroom and Night club 2-step even more fun. I enjoy authentic people, and am not competitive with dancing. A good lead can have me dancing at his level with a little time-- though I am willing to learn. Not a stickler for precise steps or costumes, I like to keep my feet on the ground, and laugh at mistakes. I am moderate in politics and religion, and believe in being good to the earth and all its inhabitants.

I love dancing and strive to do it well. I took private lessons for many years, but have not been dancing much in the past 5 years and would have missed it a lot. I had some health issues that got in the way and a baby who is now 4 and well life got in the way. I am interested in making friends, practicing and going social dancing. Started dancing in college and competed in the collegiate circuit (novice/pre-champ), but haven't competed since then. Have had a couple of practice partners, but never got to the point of competition. I miss ballroom!

I do ISTD Ballroom and Latin twice a week and occasionally Salsa, as well as Pilates classes.

I started dancing while living in the UK. We moved to NYC two and a half years ago and I'm now training at Brooklyn Dancesport Club. I have participated in competitions with my teachers and would like to have a commited partner to dance with. I am now training to compete on the gold/novice level.

I started ballroom lessons in the early 90's-International Style and have progessed to learn other social dances also-salsa, WC Swing, and Argentine Tango. I performed a few Pro-Am exhibitions in Int. Latin and one competition at the bronze level in the mid 90's. I don't have the time or desire to do any competing at this point. I now just enjoy social dancing and all of the dances and would love to have a partner to practice, learn and enjoy! I also am very health minded and am a vegetarian.
