I love the romance and elegance of Waltz. I love the sassy sophistication of Foxtrot. I love the dramatic flare of Tango. I love the sensuality of Rumba. I love the playfulness of Swing. I love the flirtation of Cha Cha. I love how rhythm and soul connects in Samba, Salsa, and Hip hop. I love dance.

I started dancing a very young age mimicking Michael &Janet Jackson videos. A teacher recognised my talent and encourage that I pursue the art of dance. At the age of 7, I started learning Jazz and Modern. At the age of 15, I started with ballet. At the age of 23, I was introduced to ballroom and fell in love.

I was forced to put my dance career on hold after I was diagnosed with cancer. After 2 major abdominal surgeries, I am now healed, and recovering. And although I am recovering, I am ready to move forward and start competing and performing again. I all I need is you ;).

My goal is to compete professionally at least 5 times a year and perform at least once a month. Dance with you soon :D

I've social danced for quite a few years but only started seriously training for competition about 5 years ago. I can teach, social dance, or perform most styles(WCS, salsa, lindy, rhythm, smooth, etc) but I am only interested in competing International.

Most of my competitive training has been in Latin and my primary coaches has been Olga Kormanovskya, Eddie Ares, and Ana Llorente.

I have coached with quite a few different instructors for Standard and have a good portfolio of steps and a decent foundation of technique but will need additional coaching and practice to compete at an open level.

I took dance lessons at Arthur Murray for two years and then with an independent instructor for a summer. I am currently dancing at a "Bronze 4/Silver 1" level. I love it and would like to spend more time dancing socially. I would also be open to training for some competitive dancing, and because I work part-time, I would be able to commit to some time for that. I think that dancing is addictive. It keeps you young and fit. It helps that I like music as well. I play the piano and enjoy all types of music, for listening as well as dancing. If you are wondering about my username, it is because a fellow student starting calling me the Samba Queen because I always got a major grin when I was dancing the samba. Love it!

I've been taking lessons a little over a year and ballroom dancing is slowly taking over my life. I love it! I dance for fun even though I do compete from time to time.

I have always enjoyed dancing. I started with ballet and kept dancing all throughout my life. I have fun moving and find dancing to be the best drug ever! I am Persian and in my culture dancing is an important part of family celebrations.

Luckily, I was fortunate enough to retire early and I thought now is the time to enjoy my passion for dancing. My dance experience has been mostly Latin dance classes. Occasional dancing in a local dance club, some performances doing Argentine tango and rumba. I still consider myself a novice at tango. I want to start from beginner level tango with a partner. My eventual goal is to do some performing, but mostly I just want to enjoy dancing tango, rumba, fusion, Very interested in blues and bachata. Also like cha-cha, and salsa. I had the honor of dancing a tango with the Phoenix Project, a professional dance company based in Norwich, NY, during one of their performances in Norwich. We danced to the Roxanne tango from the movie 'Moulin Rouge'. One of my most fun moments was dancing a tango in a music video by a local musician.

When I'm not dancing my attention is turned to my artwork. I am a glass engraver, point (or stipple) engraving being my favorite medium. I also love working with pencil and color pencil, and I am presently working on drawings and glass engravings of 50 waterfalls throughout NY State, a labor of love that I expect to take many years to complete.

Hello, I live in the San Fernando Valley.Although I am age 60 I’ve been complimented for looking younger. I have a lot of energy! I have been country dancing for over 30 years. I consider myself an intermediate level dancer. Country two-step, cowboy cha-cha, desperado wrap are my favorite dances. I have been complimented by several women that I am a strong lead thus I am seeking a partner who has couples country dance experience.What is most important is that the woman be a responsive follower. Having that special partner that feels like we are dancing as one is a rare find. I hope by putting myself out there, I will find a great partner to dance with on a regular basis. I started dancing smooth/rhythm In 2017 but my priorities changed and right now I am learning an Argentine Tango full time. This dance resonates with me very much and I am loving every minute that I can put into learning how to converse in the language of Argentine Tango. I still dance Ballroom socially but I compete only in Argentine Tango.

Biggest problem is finding someone to practice and dance with on a regular basis. I have taken private lessons, and generally go to 2-3 group classes a week. I started Latin dance 2 years ago, but couldn't take it seriously, then I switched to lindy-hop and wanted to be awesome but my energy and body capabilities do not match. Then may 2015, I started west coast swing and now August of 2015, my instructor thinks I'm ready to compete. So I'm up for west coast swing competition partner, the rest I would like to learn casually and I'm up for that.

Since the beginning of C&W, I helped to create the syllabus for this dance for the whole US.. Obviously, I had a dance partner and we went on to become a championship caliber couple. Later, I opened a studio and offered choreography and coaching. Prior to C&W, I was an accomplished disco dancer, specializing in the Hustle. Later, I picked up some proficiency with West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and some ballroom dancing. My goal is to move forward from where I left off and create new patterns and amalgamations.
