Started salsa 4 years ago then onto Modern-jive,blues,tango,some rock&roll and ballroom.

Dancing is my main evening hobby, other interests are reading French,cycling and have recently started saxophone lessons

Classical music, but will dance to anything

Now living on scenic seafront in St Ives, Cornwall, not far from Penzance and the Scilly Isles.

I went through Grade 8 classical piano and have interest in musical phrasing, tone colour, and rhythm. Once body language has attained fluency I would be interested in body mind and soul not just body movement -- content and poetry of dance not just body grammar. Currently having standard weekly lessons partnered by teacher.

I transcribe standard steps into notation written within bars very similar to sheet music, so that at any time I can reprise a dance phrase in context of musical phrase. I learnt ALL lady's steps so I have insight into the realities of partner dance. I regularly use slow-motion replays from DVD and YouTube -- a high-tech dancer though not a high-kicking can-can dancer ha ha ha. That would have to wait until I take you to tour Paris, taking in the Louvre, Montmartre Moulin Rouge, and dining at Hotel Meurice.

Don't let this fish slip away!!! ha ha ha. My Irish lady teacher thinks the world of me, but she is a Professional dancer and renowned Irish judge so cannot partner me in Blackpool amateur comp. My private lessons lasting one hour every Saturday morning have been intensively going through Marcus and Karen Hilton's 5-hour Simply the Best teaching DVD.

My preferred dances are the Latin dances including Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Kizomba and Swing. When circumstances permit, I am a "Gentleman Dance Host" on cruises with different Cruise Liners.

Focus for the past two (2) has been on learning Kizomba, now with two recent performances under my belt.

Currently, I'm employed in Tucson, AZ. I spend most all of my time teaching & training on getting checked out of Bronze completely. I have a passion for what I do, and want to become one of the greatest.

I am a very active and physically fit single female (widow), having lost my husband five years ago. I had the good fortune to be blessed with a very special relationship and wonderful marriage of 27 years. As to what I enjoy in life ... well, tennis is my passion ... a wonderful sport, it is my social life at the moment and keeps me physically fit. Most of my training is in American Rhythm.

My core training was with Jose Decamps & Joanna Zacharowitz for Pro Am American Rhythm. I placed second at USDC 2017 Open Scholarship Ladies B.

Looking to also compete in American Smooth. That will be my next challenge.

The dancers are friendly and the food is excellent. and the music is up beat and the urge to dance ,even tho u mite be tired , calls you out onto the dance floor.

I have been dancing for 10 years studying jazz, modern, hip hop, and lyrical, but have been practicing ballroom for only 2, having been professionally dancing/teaching for the past year. I moved out of the country for several months and was not dancing for about 6 months and am recently getting back into it. My goal right now is to better my dancing as a whole to eventually compete at a professional level. I am a perfectionist and a very hard worker, not taking this passion lightly :)

I started taking dance lessons in November 2009. I've been learning bolero, cha cha, east coast swing, foxtrot, hustle, mambo, rumba, tango, viennese waltz, waltz, and west coast swing. I've also learned a few basic steps in bachata, quickstep and samba. I've performed in 4 studio showcases and 2 competitions. I just began taking group lessons in club-style hustle and west coast swing in November 2013.

Experience: 2 lessons/week for a year. Dances I know: East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop Savoy, Salsa, Bachata, Night Club Two Step, Country Two Step & Rumba. I wake at sunrise so I have to stop dancing at 11pm. I work out in gym 5 days/week and physically fit so I don’t need breaks to rest while doing mild dancing. I’m a non-smoker, & own two new large houses paid for.

Divorced without children 4 years ago & ready to settle down & make a family. Can pay airfare for USA Lady out of state & host her stay. Open minded to foreign Lady.

I have been taking social dance lessons for over a year and a half. I enjoy dancing tremendously.

I have participated in some competitions and I have been a student of a ballroon school for the last 5 years. Meeting new people will make my dance life more entertaining.

Some girls follow beautifully and are graceful. Whilst I'm not an elephant nor do I take the lead I appreciate I'm not talented! Am spoilt with the ex so couldn't bear to shuffle around floor standing miles apart but don't mind anyone with limited knowledge. I was chucked in the deep end without learning the basics so happy to start again. I have balance problems so get dizzy with repeated spinning and do tend to stiffen/lean through a hard spin. Better that you are a strong lead rather than a wimpy one - even if it is in the wrong direction! Live between Basingstoke and Reading so someone close to have lessons and dance socially would be great. Interested ballroom or sequence but Salsa not my thing. Love modern jive but can't do spinning.

5 years of competitive ballroom dancing in International Standard at the Amateur level. Goals are to get to the Championship level and to compete nationally in Amateur level. Willing to put in the hours and dance lessons. I'm motivated and serious but also easy to work with, and I'm looking to have fun in this learning process.

a natural dancer since childhood; have had a few years salsa training, some ballroom and nothing for about 2 yrs; goals are to just have fun and become a better dancer. would like to branch out to other forms of dance and latin music is what moves me along with the rat pack music. quick learner show me twice and I have it. also I use lots of my home made combos of essential oils rather than cosmetics. I am down to earth and straight forward.

Did not start taking dance classes until about age 23. I have had classes and workshops on and off for years. Taught children's musical theatre on and off for years.
