I’m aiming to compete! Can dance both - Latina and Standard.

I have always wanted to take classes and have been taking classes with a female friend for last 6 months but I would prefer a male dance partner. I currently attend two classes each week, I have no desire to do it professional or enter competitions it is purely social and fun.

I square danced and round danced as well as social dancing for 40 years. I have now been taking ballroom lessons for two years. I love all types of dancing especially ballroom and WCS. I currently take lessons 4 times a week. I teach line dancing in my senior park. I just love to dance and go as often as I can. I believe lessons at even the basic level can be helpful.

I started dancing West Coast Swing a little over 8 years ago, and currently dance with members of the local club. Have competed and placed in several West Coast Swing novice competitions, including a first place win that moved me into the intermediate division. Mostly social dancing the last couple years.

Having discovered Bachata a year ago, the dance really spoke to me even if it's a far cry from previous experience (Barn dance and Breton Folk). 6 months ago I started serious classes as well as attending as many socials as possible.

I gotta dance. It gives me fulfillment and tranquility. My former second wife and I learned to dance together. For our wedding we danced down the aisle with a waltz and danced back out in country western style. One reason for our friendly divorce (We went dancing the night it was final)was her loss of interest in a serious commitment to dancing. I am taking lessons and giving lessons. Because I don't have a regular and comparable partner I can't take full advantage of all the dance I've learned.

I am a former Baptist minister who preached against dancing and now I'm doing it. I'm sorry I discovered so late in life my natural inclination for dance. I'm trying to make up for that lost time. I desperately need a compatible partner to help me do that.

At 79 I am very healthy and moderately physically fit. I'm reveling in my life and bursting with life. I am still working full time. Also at 79 I have worked through all the religious and romantic issues and am very comfortable as a single, stand alone guy. I just want to dance with a partner who loves dance, has a good aptitude for ballroom dancing, and is seeking to perfect her dance.

One outlet that would be interesting to try with a dance partner as a team is to do demo dances at nursing and retirement facilities. They are always looking for free programming and this would be great experience and useful service for my dance partner and I.

One dance routine for this purpose is the Tango danced to Goldfinger.

I have completed basic social dances, gold level - cha cha, rhumba, samba, square rhumba and now looking into taking up ballroom dancing lessons.

I am a happy, easy going lady who 'rediscovered' dancing a couple years ago and would like to find someone to go out dancing with, as my husband does not share the same enthusiasm for dancing as myself, and to further improve my dancing technique. Rock' n' Roll is my favourite dance and I would really love to find a good partner to 'rock' with.

I started dance lessons a few years ago, My first few lessons were actually not in a classroom but at actual dance socials. I then hit the classroom for about two years straight, and continued with the social settings. I took about a one year break from 2018-2019 but have gotten back into the swing of things (pun intended ;) ) I'm hoping to find someone I can connect with in dance and possible on more levels.

I like to go out to eat, dance and socialise and I love holidays abroad in the hot sun and beautiful suroundings. I am a very "get up and go" sort of person and I always like to be doing something (work or play) to keep my self occupied.
