Have some free time and like to stay physically and mentally active. My schedule is flexible since I work for myself, plus volunteer and could be considered semi-retired. Need to keep physically and mentally active so ballroom dancing would be perfect--only problem is that I don't have a partner. I tried going solo years ago but mainly everyone had a partner even though they say you don't need one! And it would be much more fun with someone to talk to and be with, plus we could motivate each other.

Hiking, bicycling, travel, reading, Pilates, and gardening are some of my hobbies, and like classic rock music. Have been a widow for ten years and have two wonderful children, one in Houston and one in Pa., not living with me though. What else....I brush my teeth and floss regularly and try to eat healthy. If you are afraid of the dentist this will absolutely not work out!

Started with dancing when I was 11yo. Did it actively for 5years,both Latin and standard. Quitted for couple of years. After getting back on it, main emphasi was on Latin. Competed in an Advance Adult Hobby Class for a year. Unfortunately had to quit it again.

Now living on the other side of the world and getting settled in a bit. So I thought to give it a go and try to start again.

I studied ballet/jazz/tap through my teens and continued dancing in jazz/lyrical styles as an adult. In 2010, I discovered partner dancing and fell in love with Ballroom dance. I now own a dance studio and am DVIDA certified in both Rhythm and Smooth. I first competed in 2015 in Adult Standard as my current partner is considerably younger than I. We most recently competed in Senior I Standard/Novice. I would like to continue to train and compete including travel to larger competitions.

I recently moved from Wausau to the Manitowoc area 7 weeks ago for a new job. I am not settle into my apartment yet, but I am ready to take up ballroom dancing again after a 1 ½ year break from it.

I have been taking weekly privates and 3 to 4 hours of group lessons per week for seven years. My last three dance partners were strictly into competitive, exhibition, or formation team dancing, but not social dancing. I had learned a lot of neat stuff, but no one to dance all this cool material socially. 90 percent of my privates and 75 percent of my groups lessons were in American Style Smooth dances of Tango, Fox Trot and Waltz. I now want to concentrate more into the rhythm dances especially the swings. I took a few group lessons in West Coast Swings, and I love it. I want to learn more.

Now that summer is around the corner, I may not be around much on weekends to do social dancing. But I will make an effort if it looks like it will be a fun dance.

I am interested in learning all styles of dancing. I enjoy playing sports and watching sporting events, biking, and walking. Cooking and dinner parties are fun. I am a social person who enjoys meeting new people and making friends. My motto is to work hard and have alot of fun.

My instructor competes at Championship level and instructs international style, He feels that I should compete with a partner who is about to move into the novice section.

I have completed my bronze exams averaging 90% and achieved a 2nd place in both Ballroom and Latin at the National Champs in 2017.

I also won first place in my section in the Strictly 5678 Competition in May 2028, with a Tango and Argentine routine.

I always wanted to dance professionally.. but did`t get to that point. I used to dance salsa for fun and visited some dance classes and dance meetings. I like it and it`s easy to learn for me.

But more than anything I would love to find a partner to learn Contemporary dance together. Would be great if Man would have some level in this dance already, cause I learn dancing SO fast, and my body picks up everything right away.

Been dancing since Urban Cowboy came out in the theaters and loved the Country Western part of dancing. Love outdoor activites and tinkering with my hands. So, I’ve been dancing salsa and bachata for 5 years. I’m leading kizomba also. I’m currebtly a teacher in our local salsa club. I have found a passion in dancing but have developed a love for sensual bachata. I only manage to do 3 hours a week of dancing as I don’t drive. Therefore I can’t really go many places and also work 2 jobs. For the right partner I believe we could make some sort or arranegment.
