I had been dancing at a studio in Glastonbury, CT. I have competed in regional and national pro/am competitions. I love to dance and have done line and country dancing for years, and now began ballroom. I took the ballroom lessons to get in shape, but I fell in love with the dancing and competing. I am learning Quick Step and love it. I love the bands on Tuesdays at our second local casino and I go to a country bar off the interstate lessons on Fridays. Line dancing, couples dancing-I love any type of dancing. I also have joined a local swing dance club and enjoy monthly dances. My newest endeavor was to audition and join the Senior Dance Team for our local WNBA Team. I can't wait to dance at a time out or half time of a game. We start out dancing to rock and then go into hip hop. The choreographer is good and I've been able to make valuable contributions when I saw something wasn't going to go smoothly.

I’ve taken group dance lessons in swing and individual lessons in ballroom; I pick up steps easily, have good rhythm, and can follow a good leader. I look forward to advancing my skills on the dance floor.

I regularly attend social dances in ballroom and swing; I had a dance partner for seven years, and we took lessons together as a couple. Dancing with a partner was fun and a great way to learn.

I am new to dance, but already hooked. I am one month into a once-weekly samba class. (I am writing this in late September, 2024.) It's great. I am also loving samba *music*; it is the original house music. As soon as it is reasonable--let's say start of November--I want to add ballet. After the new year, I want to add another thing. I have started Zumba, but I am making negative progress with that; I'm worse now than when I started. I'll stick with it, but hide at the back of the room.

I've been told not to start so many sentences with "I." I have done a 100-mile ultramarathon, but I am still a non-elite runner. A secondary motivation for dance is to become a better athlete in the running department. This is tangential, but I want to do more 3000m steeplechase events. I also want to do off-road ultras; the one I completed was in ideal cool, indoor conditions. Again, this is tangential.

I mentioned samba, ballet, and the third thing. There are a hundred different dances that I could be learning. I don't necessarily want to take a separate class for each of those. I just want to start doing them right away.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I am not a scammer!

Nicely skilled, stronger in standard than latin, soft frame, long stride, hard working but easy going. Curious to see just how good I am.

I am a keen Ballroom and Latin dancer and have not advertised before so here goes! Have been following this for several years but unfortunately should have progressed to a much higher standard. I've not had the opportunity to practice more advanced routines as I have never found the right partner to do this, and therefore have not achieved my goal.

I started taking weekly bachata and salsa dance since August and have started attending social events twice a month. I practice by myself several times a week; but, it doesn't translate well without a partner.

Looking for consistent practice with a lead and social dancing to level up

Mostly just a freestyle dancer who enjoys the amazing music scene we have in DC. Like to think that I'm a gentleman and good at being creative in how to support my friends in their goals. I've had minimal lessons but I'm open to learning salsa, swing, maybe other styles with the right person.

Love to dance and perform and willing to compete. Looking for partner for social dancing, lessons, and maybe showcases and amateur competitions. Fairly new to Portland. Have been to salsa, WCS, rumba and bachata lessons at various studios and to social dances.

Eight years ago, began dance lessons in all styles. Then competed in Standard/Ballroom pro-am and amateur-amateur at College comps.

I would like to work on improving my dance skills in social dance settings and dance lessons. I like a strong lead otherwise I'm clueless. My favorite dances are Hustle, Cha-cha, Rumba, and Samba.
