I'm interested in improving on my salsa dance skills

Ballroom dance team member throughout college in New England and while studying abroad in London. Danced silver/gold and open a few times. Now live in DC. I'm not really looking to compete right now - not sure I have time to do so. Looking for someone to dance socially with and get really good at the club dances (i.e. salsa, Argentine tango, etc.). I would say I am pretty talented and a fast learner.

I would like to find someone to go out dancing with on a regular basis. Im always open to learning more.

I have been dancing since I was 4 years old, and participating in ballroom for a little over 6 years. My favorite dances mostly fall within the smooth category, though I do enjoy both West Coast & East Coast Swing. I would also be interested in learning Zouk.

I fell in love with ballroom dancing 15 years ago and then on and off I had been taking training from competitive level coaches in standard and some Latin for fun. I have not been dancing for the last 2 years due to work and now I m ready to go back. I cannot wait to get back to the dance floor again!!!!! For the last little while, I have been dancing Argentine Tango as a substitute. But my heart is still in the ballroom dancing. I consider myself as a gifted natural dancer where music comes into my blood since the moment I saw the world. Even if my parents have sent me to school to complete my bachelors degree and landed a good job on such degree , still my entire body senses, toes, legs, hands and the entire system yearn for that feeling of engaging into the rhythm of the music. My world is music. My life is music. When I dance, I feel that I get to express the genuine purpose and aim of why I was born. It is about the passion of my dance. When I move to the dance steps and perform before the audience and compete among the numerous fantastic dancers, I feel so much the joy and achievement. I am ready to live my passion. To live the life of an artist. To live the life of an athlete. And I want to achieve more. I will never stop. I will chase on my dreams. I will become big someday with the right partner. I have been dancing tango for six years. I learned in Hong Kong, and when I retired I returned to Canada. I am a leader, but would like to learn to follow as well at some point since I think it would improve my leading. I am, I guess, low-level intermediate.
